이는 우리를 사로잡은 者(자)가 거기서 우리에게 노래를 請(청)하며 우리를 荒廢(황폐)케 한 者(자)가 기쁨을 請(청)하고 自己(자기)들을 爲(위)하여 시온 노래 中(중) 하나를 노래하라 함이로다
for there our captors asked us for songs, our tormentors demanded songs of joy; they said, "Sing us one of the songs of Zion!" For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. |

내가 예루살렘을 記憶(기억)지 아니하거나 내가 너를 나의 第一(제일) 즐거워하는 것보다 지나치게 아니할찐대 이내 혀가 내 입천장에 붙을지로다
May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not consider Jerusalem my highest joy. If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy. |

여호와여 ㅐ예루살렘이 害(해) 받던 날을 記憶(기억)하시고 ㄱ에돔 子孫(자손)을 치소서 저희 말이 ㄴ毁破(훼파)하라 毁破(훼파)하라 그 基礎(기초)까지 毁破(훼파)하라 하였나이다
Remember, O LORD, what the Edomites did on the day Jerusalem fell. "Tear it down," they cried, "tear it down to its foundations!" Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof. |

ㄷ女子(여자) 같은 滅亡(멸망)할 바벨론아 네가 우리에게 行(행)한대로 ㄹ네게 갚는 者(자)가 有福(유복)하리로다
O Daughter of Babylon, doomed to destruction, happy is he who repays you for what you have done to us-- O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. |

ㅁ네 어린 것들을 磐石(반석)에 메어치는 者(자)는 有福(유복)하리로다
he who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks. Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones. |
