It is written in Isaiah the prophet: "I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way"-- As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. |

ㄹ曠野(광야)에 외치는 者(자)의 소리가 있어 가로되 너희는 ㅁ主(주)의 길을 豫備(예비)하라 그의 捷徑(첩경)을
平坦(평탄)케 하라 記錄(기록)된 것과 같이
a voice of one calling in the desert, 'Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.' The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. |

ㅂ洗禮(세례) 요한이 이르러 ㅅ曠野(광야)에서
ㅇ罪(죄) 赦(사)함을 받게하는 ㅈ悔改(회개)의 ㅊ洗禮(세례)를 傳播(전파)하니
And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. |

온 유대 地方(지방)과 예루살렘 사람이 다 나아가 ㅋ自己(자기) 罪(죄)를 自服(자복)하고 요단江(강)에서 그에게 洗禮(세례)를 받더라

요한은 ㅌ약대털을 입고 허리에 가죽띠를 띠고 ㅍ메뚜기와 ㅎ石淸(석청)을 먹더라
John wore clothing made of camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey. And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey; |

그가 傳播(전파)하여 가로되 나보다 能力(능력) 많으신 이가 ㅏ내 뒤에 오시나니 나는 그의 신들메를 풀기도 堪當(감당)치 못하겠노라
And this was his message: "After me will come one more powerful than I, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie. And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. |

너희에게 洗禮(세례)를 주시리라
I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit." I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. |

● ㅕ그 때에 예수께서 ㅗ갈릴리 나사렛으로부터 와서 요단江(강)에서 요한에게 洗禮(세례)를 받으시고
At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. |

곧 물에서 올라 오실쌔 ㅛ하늘이 갈라짐과
ㅜ聖靈(성령)이
비둘기같이 自己(자기)에게 ㅠ내려 오심을 보시더니
As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: |

으소리가 나기를 이너는 내 사랑하는 아들이라 내가 너를 기뻐 하노라 하시니라
And a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased." And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. |

● ㅐ聖靈(성령)이 곧
예수를 曠野(광야)로 몰아 내신지라
At once the Spirit sent him out into the desert, And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness. |
13 |
曠野(광야)에서 四十日(사십일)을 계셔서 ㄱ사단에게 ㄴ試驗(시험)을 받으시며 들짐승과 함께 계시니 ㄷ天使(천사)들이 隧從(수종)들더라
and he was in the desert forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him. And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him. |

● ㄹ요한이 잡힌 後(후) ㅁ예수께서 갈릴리에 오셔서 ㅂ하나님의 福音(복음)을 傳播(전파)하여
After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, |

ㅅ가라사대 때가 찼고 ㅇ하나님 나라가 가까왔으니 ㅈ悔改(회개)하고 福音(복음)을 믿으라 하시더라
The time has come, he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!" And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. |

● ㅊ갈릴리 海邊(해변)으로 지나가시다가 시몬과 그 兄弟(형제) 안드레가 바다에 그물 던지는 것을 보고 저희는 漁夫(어부)라
As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. |

예수께서 가라사대 나를 따라 오너라 내가 너희로 ㅋ사람을 낚는 漁夫(어부)가 되게 하리라 하시니

Come, follow me, Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. |

곧 그물을 버려 두고 좇으니라
At once they left their nets and followed him. And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him. |
19 |
조금 더 가시다가 세베대의 아들 야고보와 그 兄弟(형제) 요한을 보시니 저희도 배에 있어 그물을 깁는데
When he had gone a little farther, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets. And when he had gone a little further thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets. |

곧 부르시니 그 아비 세베대를 삯군들과 함께 배에 버려 두고 예수를 따라 가니라
Without delay he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him. And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him. |
21 |
● ㅌ저희가 가버나움에 들어가니라 예수께서 곧 ㅍ安息日(안식일)에 ㅎ會堂(회당)에 들어가 가르치시매
They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach. And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught. |

ㅏ뭇 사람이 그의 敎訓(교훈)에 놀라니 이는 그 가르치시는 것이 權勢(권세) 있는 者(자)와 같고 書記官(서기관)들과 같지 아니함일러라

The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law. And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes. |

마침 저희 會堂(회당)에 더러운 鬼神(귀신)들린 사람이 있어 소리질러 가로되
Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an evil spirit cried out, And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, |

나사렛 예수여 우리가 當身(당신)과 ㅑ무슨 相關(상관)이 있나이까 우리를 滅(멸)하러 왔나이까 ㅓ나는 當身(당신)이 누구인줄
아노니 ㅕ하나님의 거룩한 者(자)니이다
What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God! Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. |

예수께서 ㅗ꾸짖어 가라사대 潛潛(잠잠)하고 그 사람에게서 나오라 하시니

Be quiet! said Jesus sternly. "Come out of him!" And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. |

더러운
鬼神(귀신)이 ㅛ그 사람으로 痙攣(경련)을 일으키게 하고 ㅜ큰소리를 지르며 나오는지라
The evil spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek. And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. |

다 ㅠ놀라 서로 물어 가로되 이는 어찜이뇨 權勢(권세) 있는 으새 敎訓(교훈)이로다 더러운
鬼神(귀신)들을 命(명)한즉 順從(순종)하는도다 하더라
The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, "What is this? A new teaching--and with authority! He even gives orders to evil spirits and they obey him." And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him. |

예수의 所聞(소문)이 곧 온 갈릴리 四方(사방)에 퍼지더라
News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee. And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee. |

● 이會堂(회당)에서 나와 곧 ㅐ야고보와 요한과 함께 시몬과 안드레의 집에 들어 가시니
As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew. And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. |

ㄱ시몬의 丈母(장모)가 熱病(열병)으로 누웠는지라 사람들이 곧 그의 일로 예수께 여짜온대

Simon's mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her. But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell him of her. |

나아가사 ㄴ그 손을 잡아 일으키시니 熱病(열병)이 떠나고 女子(여자)가 저희에게 隧從(수종)드니라
So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them. And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them. |

● 저물어 해 질 때에 모든 病者(병자)와 ㄷ鬼神(귀신) 들린 者(자)를 예수께 데려오니

That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed. And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils. |

온 洞里(동리)가 문앞에 모였더라
The whole town gathered at the door, And all the city was gathered together at the door. |

예수께서 ㄹ各色(각색) 病(병)든 많은 사람을 고치시며 많은 鬼神(귀신)을 내어 쫓으시되 ㅁ鬼神(귀신)이 自己(자기)를 알므로 그 말하는 것을
許諾(허락)지 아니하시니
and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was. And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him. |

● ㅂ새벽 오히려 未明(미명)에 예수께서 일어나 나가 閒寂(한적)한 곳으로 가사 ㅅ거기서 祈禱(기도)하시더니
Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. |

시몬과 및 그와 함께 있는 者(자)들이 예수의 뒤를 따라가
Simon and his companions went to look for him, And Simon and they that were with him followed after him. |
37 |
만나서 가로되 ㅇ모든 사람이 主(주)를 찾나이다
ㅇ

and when they found him, they exclaimed: "Everyone is looking for you!" And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee. |

이르시되 우리가 다른 가까운 마을들로 가자 거기서도 傳道(전도)하리니 ㅈ내가 이를 爲(위)하여 왔노라 하시고
ㅈ

Jesus replied, "Let us go somewhere else--to the nearby villages--so I can preach there also. That is why I have come." And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth. |

ㅊ이에 온 갈릴리에 다니시며 저희 여러 ㅋ會堂(회당)에서 傳道(전도)하시고 또 鬼神(귀신)들을 내어 쫓으시더라
So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons. And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils. |

● ㅌ한 문둥病者(병자)가 예수께 와서 ㅍ꿇어 엎드리어 懇求(간구)하여 가로되 ㅎ願(원)하시면 저를 깨끗케 하실수 있나이다
A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, "If you are willing, you can make me clean." And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. |
41 |
예수께서 민망히 여기사 손을 내밀어 저에게 대시며 가라사대 내가 願(원)하노니 깨끗함을 받으라 하신대
Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. |
42 |
곧 문둥病(병)이 그 사람에게서 떠나가고 깨끗하여진지라
Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured. And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed. |
43 |
ㅏ嚴(엄)히 警戒(경계)하사 곧 보내시며
ㅏ
마9:30
Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning: And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away; |
44 |
가라사대 ㅑ삼가 아무에게 아무말도 하지 말고 가서 ㅓ네 몸을 祭司長(제사장)에게 보이고 네 깨끗케 됨을 因(인)하여 ㅕ모세의 命(명)한 것을 드려
저희에게 ㅗ證據(증거)하라 하셨더니
See that you don't tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them. And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. |

ㅛ그러나 그 사람이 나가서 이 일을 많이 傳播(전파)하여 널리 퍼지게 하니 그러므로 예수께서 다시는 드러나게 ㅜ洞里(동리)에 들어가지 못하시고 오직 바깥
閒寂(한적)한 곳에 계셨으나 ㅠ四方(사방)에서 그에게로 나아오더라
Instead he went out and began to talk freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer enter a town openly but stayed outside in lonely places. Yet the people still came to him from everywhere. But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter. |
