Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; |

가라사대 어떤 都市(도시)에 ㅂ하나님을 두려워 아니하고 사람을 無視(무시)하는 한 裁判官(재판관)이 있는데

He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: |

그 都市(도시)에 한 寡婦(과부)가 있어 자주 그에게 가서 내 怨讐(원수)에 對(대)한 나의 怨恨(원한)을 풀어 주소서 하되
And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, 'Grant me justice against my adversary.' And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. |

그가 얼마 동안 듣지 아니하다가 後(후)에 속으로 생각하되 ㅅ내가 하나님을 두려워 아니하고 사람을 無視(무시)하나

For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, 'Even though I don't fear God or care about men, And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; |

이 寡婦(과부)가 나를 번거롭게 하니 내가 그 怨恨(원한)을 풀어 주리라 그렇지 않으면 늘 와서 ㅇ나를 괴롭게 하리라 하였느니라

yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!'" Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. |

主(주)께서 또 가라사대 ㅈ不義(불의)한 裁判官(재판관)의 말한 것을 들으라

And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. |

하물며 하나님께서 그 ㅊ밤낮 부르짖는 ㅋ擇(택)하신 者(자)들의 怨恨(원한)을 ㅌ풀어 주지 아니하시겠느냐 저희에게 ㅍ오래
참으시겠느냐
And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? |

내가 너희에게 이르노니 ㅎ速(속)히 그 怨恨(원한)을 풀어 주시리라 그러나 人子(인자)가 올 때에 ㅏ世上(세상)에서 믿음을 보겠느냐 하시니라
I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?" I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? |

● 또 ㅑ自己(자기)를 義(의)롭다고 ㅓ믿고 ㅕ다른 사람을 蔑視(멸시)하는 者(자)들에게 이 譬喩(비유)로 말씀하시되
To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable: And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: |

두 사람이 祈禱(기도)하러 ㅗ聖殿(성전)에 올라가니 하나는 바리새人(인)이요 하나는 稅吏(세리)라
Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. |

바리새人(인)은 ㅛ서서 ㅜ따로
祈禱(기도)하여 가로되 하나님이여 나는 다른 사람들 곧 討索(토색), 不義(불의), 姦淫(간음)을 하는 者(자)들과 같지
아니하고 이 稅吏(세리)와도 같지 아니함을 感謝(감사)하나이다
The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: 'God, I thank you that I am not like other men--robbers, evildoers, adulterers--or even like this tax collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. |

ㅠ나는 이레에 두 번씩 禁食(금식)하고 또 으所得(소득)의 十一條(십일조)를 드리나이다 하고
I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.' I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. |
13 |
稅吏(세리)는 멀리 서서 敢(감)히 이눈을 들어 하늘을 우러러 보지도 못하고
다만
ㅐ가슴을 치며 가로되 하나님이여 ㄱ불쌍히 여기옵소서 나는 罪人(죄인)이로소이다 하였느니라
But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, 'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.' And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. |

내가 너희에게 이르노니 이 사람이 저보다 義(의)롭다 하심을 받고 집에 내려 갔느니라 무릇
ㄴ自己(자기)를 높이는 者(자)는 낮아지고 自己(자기)를 낮추는 者(자)는 높아지리라 하시니라

I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. |

● ㄷ사람들이 예수의 만져주심을 바라고 自己(자기) 어린 아기를 데리고 오매 弟子(제자)들이 보고 ㄹ꾸짖거늘
People were also bringing babies to Jesus to have him touch them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them. |

예수께서 그 어린 아이들을 불러 가까이 하시고 이르시되 ㅁ어린 아이들이 내게 오는 것을 容納(용납)하고 ㅂ禁(금)하지 말라 하나님의
나라가 이런 者(자)의 것이니라
But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. |

ㅅ내가 眞實(진실)로 너희에게 이르노니 누구든지 하나님의 나라를 어린 아이와 같이 ㅇ받들지 않는
者(자)는 決斷(결단)코 들어가지 못하리라 하시니라
I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein. |

● ㅈ어떤 官員(관원)이 물어 가로되 善(선)한 先生(선생)님이여 내가 무엇을 하여야 ㅊ永生(영생)을 얻으리이까
A certain ruler asked him, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? |

예수께서 이르시되 네가 어찌하여 나를 善(선)하다 일컫느냐 하나님 한분 外(외)에는 善(선)한 이가 없느니라
Why do you call me good? Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone. And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. |

네가 誡命(계명)을 아나니 ㅋ姦淫(간음)하지 말라, 殺人(살인)하지 말라, 盜賊(도적)질하지 말라, 거짓 證據(증거)하지 말라, 네 父母(부모)를 恭敬(공경)하라 하였느니라
You know the commandments: 'Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.'" Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. |

여짜오되 ㅌ이것은 내가 어려서부터 다 지키었나이다

All these I have kept since I was a boy, he said. And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. |

예수께서 이 말을 들으시고 이르시되 네가 오히려 한 가지 不足(부족)한 것이 있으니 네게 ㅍ있는 것을 다 팔아 가난한 者(자)들을 나눠 주라 그리하면 ㅎ하늘에서 寶貨(보화)가 네게
있으리라 그리고 와서 나를 좇으라 하시니
When Jesus heard this, he said to him, "You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. |

ㅏ그 사람이 큰 富者(부자)인 故(고)로 이 말씀을 듣고 甚(심)히 근심하더라

When he heard this, he became very sad, because he was a man of great wealth. And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich. |

예수께서 저를 보시고 가라사대 ㅑ財産(재산)이 있는 者(자)는 ㅓ하나님의
나라에 들어가기가 어떻게 어려운지
Jesus looked at him and said, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! |

약대가 바늘귀로 들어가는 것이 富者(부자)가 하나님의 나라에 들어가는 것보다 쉬우니라 하신대
Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. |

듣는 者(자)들이 가로되 그런즉 누가 救援(구원)을 얻을 수 있나이까
Those who heard this asked, "Who then can be saved?" And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved? |
27 |
ㅕ가라사대 무릇 사람의 할 수 없는 것을 하나님은 하실 수 있느니라
Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God." And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. |
28 |
베드로가 여짜오되 보옵소서 ㅗ우리가 우리의 것을 다 버리고 主(주)를 좇았나이다
Peter said to him, "We have left all we had to follow you!" Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee. |
29 |
이르시되 내가 眞實(진실)로 너희에게 이르노니 하나님의 나라를 爲(위)하여 ㅛ집이나 아내나 兄弟(형제)나 父母(부모)나 子女(자녀)를 버린 者(자)는

I tell you the truth, Jesus said to them, "no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, |

ㅜ今世(금세)에 있어 ㅠ여러 倍(배)를 받고 으來世(내세)에 永生(영생)을 받지 못할 者(자)가 없느니라 하시니라
will fail to receive many times as much in this age and, in the age to come, eternal life." Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting. |

● 이예수께서 열 두 弟子(제자)를 데리시고 이르시되 보라 ㅐ우리가 예루살렘으로 올라가노니 ㄱ先知者(선지자)들로 記錄(기록)된 모든 것이 人子(인자)에게 應(응)하리라
Jesus took the Twelve aside and told them, "We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled. Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished. |

ㄴ人子(인자)가 異邦人(이방인)들에게 넘기워 ㄷ戱弄(희롱)을 받고 凌辱(능욕)을 받고 ㄹ침 뱉음을
받겠으며
He will be handed over to the Gentiles. They will mock him, insult him, spit on him, flog him and kill him. For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on: |

저희는 채찍질하고 죽일 것이니 저는 ㅁ三日(삼일)만에 살아나리라 하시되

On the third day he will rise again." And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again. |

ㅂ弟子(제자)들이 이것을 하나도 깨닫지 못하였으니 그 ㅅ말씀이 감취었으므로 저희가 그 이르신 바를 알지 못하였더라
The disciples did not understand any of this. Its meaning was hidden from them, and they did not know what he was talking about. And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken. |

● ㅇ여리고에 가까이 오실 때에 한 ㅈ소경이 길 가에 앉아 求乞(구걸)하다가
As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging: |

무리의 지남을 듣고 이 무슨 일이냐고 물은대
When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. |
37 |
저희가 ㅊ나사렛 예수께서 지나신다 하니
They told him, "Jesus of Nazareth is passing by." And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. |
38 |
소경이 외쳐 가로되 ㅋ다윗의 子孫(자손) 예수여 나를 불쌍히 여기소서 하거늘
He called out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. |
39 |
앞서 가는 者(자)들이 저를 ㅌ꾸짖어 潛潛(잠잠)하라 하되 저가 더욱 甚(심)히 소리 질러 다윗의 子孫(자손)이여 나를 불쌍히 여기소서 하는지라

Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. |

Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, |

ㅍ네게 무엇을 하여 주기를 願(원)하느냐 가로되 主(주)여 보기를 願(원)하나이다

예수께서 저에게 이르시되 보아라 ㅎ네 믿음이 ㅏ너를
救援(구원)하였느니라 하시매
Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has healed you." And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee. |
43 |
곧 보게 되어 하나님께 ㅑ榮光(영광)을 돌리며 예수를 좇으니 ㅓ百姓(백성)이 다 이를 보고 하나님을 讚揚(찬양)하니라
Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God. And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God. |
