1 그 때에 예수께서 聖靈(성령)에게 이끌리어 魔鬼(마귀)에게 試驗(시험)을 받으러 曠野(광야)로 가사
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil.
2 四十日(사십일)을 밤낮으로 禁食(금식)하신 後(후)에 주리신지라
After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.
3 試驗(시험)하는 者(자)가 예수께 나아가서 가로되 네가 萬一(만일) 하나님의 아들이어든 命(명)하여 이 돌들이 떡덩이가 되게 하라
The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread."
4 예수께서 對答(대답)하여 가라사대 記錄(기록)되었으되 사람이 떡으로만 살것이 아니요 하나님의 입으로 나오는 모든 말씀으로 살 것이라 하였느니라 하시니라
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
5 이에 魔鬼(마귀)가 예수를 거룩한 城(성)으로 데려다가 聖殿(성전) 꼭대기에 세우고
Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple.
6 가로되 네가 萬一(만일) 하나님의 아들이어든 뛰어내리라 記錄(기록)하였으되 저가 너를 爲(위)하여 그 使者(사자)들을 命(명)하시리니 저희가 손으로 너를 받들어 발이 돌에 부딪히지 않게 하리로다 하였느니라
If you are the Son of God, he said, "throw yourself down. For it is written: "'He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.'"
7 예수께서 이르시되 또 記錄(기록)되었으되 主(주) 너의 하나님을 試驗(시험)치 말라 하였느니라 하신대
Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'"
8 魔鬼(마귀)가 또 그를 데리고 至極(지극)히 높은 山(산)으로 가서 天下(천하) 萬國(만국)과 그 榮光(영광)을 보여
눅4:5
Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.
9 가로되 萬一(만일) 내게 엎드려 敬拜(경배)하면 이 모든 것을 네게 주리라
All this I will give you, he said, "if you will bow down and worship me."
10 이에 예수께서 말씀하시되 사단아 물러가라 記錄(기록)되었으되 主(주) 너의 하나님께 敬拜(경배)하고 다만 그를 섬기라 하였느니라
Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'"
11 이에 魔鬼(마귀)는 예수를 떠나고 天使(천사)들이 나아와서 隧從(수종)드니라
Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.
12 ● 예수께서 요한의 잡힘을 들으시고 갈릴리로 물러 가셨다가
When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he returned to Galilee.
13 나사렛을 떠나 스불론과 납달리 地境(지경) 海邊(해변)에 있는 가버나움에 가서 사시니
Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali--
14 이는 先知者(선지자) 이사야로 하신 말씀을 이루려 하심이라 일렀으되
to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah:
15 스불론 땅과 납달리 땅과 요단江(강) 저便(편) 海邊(해변) 길과 異邦(이방)의 갈릴리여
Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the way to the sea, along the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles--
16 黑暗(흑암)에 앉은 百姓(백성)이 큰 을 보았고 死亡(사망)그늘에 앉은 者(자)들에게 이 비취었도다 하였느니라
the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned."
17 이 때부터 예수께서 비로소 傳播(전파)하여 가라사대 悔改(회개)하라 天國(천국)이 가까왔느니라 하시더라
From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."
18 ● 갈릴리 海邊(해변)에 다니시다가 두 兄弟(형제) 곧 베드로라 하는 시몬과 그 兄弟(형제) 안드레가 바다에 그물 던지는 것을 보시니 저희는 漁夫(어부)라
As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
19 말씀하시되 나를 따라 오너라 내가 너희로 사람을 낚는 漁夫(어부)가 되게 하리라 하시니
Come, follow me, Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."
20 저희가 곧 그물을 버려 두고 예수를 좇으니라
At once they left their nets and followed him.
21 거기서 더 가시다가 다른 두 兄弟(형제) 곧 세베대의 아들 야고보와 그 兄弟(형제) 요한이 그 父親(부친) 세베대와 한가지로 배에서 그물 깁는 것을 보시고 부르시니
Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them,
22 저희가 곧 배와 父親(부친)을 버려두고 예수를 좇으니라
and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.
23 예수께서 온 갈릴리에 두루 다니사 저희 會堂(회당)에서 가르치시며 1)天國(천국) 福音(복음)을 傳播(전파)하시며 百姓(백성) 中(중)에 모든 病(병)과 모든 弱(약)한 것을 고치시니
Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.
24 그의 所聞(소문)이 온 수리아에 퍼진지라 사람들이 모든 앓는 者(자) 곧 各色病(각색병)과 苦痛(고통)에 걸린 者(자), 鬼神(귀신) 들린 者(자), 癎疾(간질)하는 자, 中風病者(중풍병자)들을 데려오니 저희를 고치시더라
News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed, and he healed them.
25 갈릴리와 데가볼리와 예루살렘과 유대와 요단江(강) 건너 便(편)에서 許多(허다)한 무리가 좇으니라
Large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him.
