Woe to you, Ariel, Ariel, the city where David settled! Add year to year and let your cycle of festivals go on. Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt! add ye year to year; let them kill sacrifices. |

Yet I will besiege Ariel; she will mourn and lament, she will be to me like an altar hearth. Yet I will distress Ariel, and there shall be heaviness and sorrow: and it shall be unto me as Ariel. |

ㅏ내가 너를 四面(사면)으로 둘러 陣(진)을 치며 軍隊(군대)로 너를 에우며 ㅑ臺(대)를
쌓아 너를 치리니
I will encamp against you all around; I will encircle you with towers and set up my siege works against you. And I will camp against thee round about, and will lay siege against thee with a mount, and I will raise forts against thee. |

ㅓ네가 낮아져서 땅에서 말하며 네 말소리가 나직히 티끌에서 날 것이라 네 목소리가 ㅕ神接(신접)한 者(자)의 목소리 같이 땅에서 나며 네 말소리가 티끌에서 지꺼리리라
Brought low, you will speak from the ground; your speech will mumble out of the dust. Your voice will come ghostlike from the earth; out of the dust your speech will whisper. And thou shalt be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust. |

● 그럴찌라도 네 對敵(대적)의 무리는 ㅗ細微(세미)한 티끌 같겠고 强暴(강포)한 者(자)의 무리는 불려가는 겨 같으리니 ㅛ그 일이 頃刻間(경각간)에
갑자기 이룰 것이라
But your many enemies will become like fine dust, the ruthless hordes like blown chaff. Suddenly, in an instant, Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly. |

ㅜ萬軍(만군)의 여호와께서 霹靂(벽력)과 地震(지진)과 큰소리와 회리바람과 暴風(폭풍)과 猛烈(맹렬)한 불꽃으로 그들을 懲罰(징벌)하실 것인즉
the LORD Almighty will come with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with windstorm and tempest and flames of a devouring fire. Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire. |

아리엘을 치는 ㅠ列邦(열방)의 무리 곧 아리엘과 그 保障(보장)을 쳐서 困苦(곤고)케 하는 모든 者(자)는 으꿈같이, 밤의 幻像(환상) 같이 되리니
Then the hordes of all the nations that fight against Ariel, that attack her and her fortress and besiege her, will be as it is with a dream, with a vision in the night-- And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision. |

이주린 者(자)가 꿈에 먹었을찌라도 깨면 그 속은 如前(여전)히 비고 목마른 者(자)가 꿈에 마셨을찌라도 깨면 困憊(곤비)하며 그 속에 渴症(갈증)이 있는 것같이 시온山(산)을 치는 列邦(열방)의 무리가 그와 같으리라
as when a hungry man dreams that he is eating, but he awakens, and his hunger remains; as when a thirsty man dreams that he is drinking, but he awakens faint, with his thirst unquenched. So will it be with the hordes of all the nations that fight against Mount Zion. It shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion. |

● 너희는 놀라고 놀라라 너희는 ㅐ소경이 되고 소경이 되라 그들의 醉(취)함이 葡萄酒(포도주)로 因(인)함이 아니며 그들의 ㄱ비틀거림이 毒酒(독주)로 因(인)함이

Be stunned and amazed, blind yourselves and be sightless; be drunk, but not from wine, stagger, but not from beer. Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink. |

ㄴ大抵(대저) 여호와께서 깊이 잠들게 하는 神(신)을 너희에게 부어주사 너희의 눈을 감기셨음이니 눈은 先知者(선지자)요 너희를 덮으셨음이니 머리는 先見者(선견자)라
The LORD has brought over you a deep sleep: He has sealed your eyes (the prophets); he has covered your heads (the seers). For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered. |

그러므로 모든 默示(묵시)가 너희에게는 마치 ㄷ封(봉)한 冊(책)의 말이라 그것을 有識(유식)한 者(자)에게 주며 이르기를 그대에게 請(청)하노니
이를 읽으라 하면 對答(대답)하기를 封(봉)하였으니 못하겠노라 할 것이요
For you this whole vision is nothing but words sealed in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say to him, "Read this, please," he will answer, "I can't; it is sealed." And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: |

또 無識(무식)한 者(자)에게 주며 이르기를 그대에게 請(청)하노니 이를 읽으라 하면 對答(대답)하기를 나는 無識(무식)하다 할 것이니라
Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, "Read this, please," he will answer, "I don't know how to read." And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. |

● 主(주)께서 가라사대 ㄹ이 百姓(백성)이 입으로는 ㅁ나를 가까이하며 입술로는 나를 尊敬(존경)하나 그 마음은 내게서 멀리 떠났나니 그들이 나를 敬畏(경외)함은 사람의 誡命(계명)으로 가르침을 받았을 뿐이라
The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men. Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: |

그러므로 ㅂ내가 이 百姓(백성) 中(중)에 奇異(기이)한 일 곧 奇異(기이)하고 가장 奇異(기이)한 일을 다시 行(행)하리니 그들 中(중)의 ㅅ智慧者(지혜자)의 智慧(지혜)가 없어지고 明哲者(명철자)의 聰明(총명)이 가리워지리라
Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish." Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. |

● 禍(화) 있을찐저 ㅇ自己(자기)의 圖謀(도모)를 여호와께 깊이 숨기려하는 者(자)여 그 일을 ㅈ어두운데서
行(행)하며 이르기를 누가 우리를 보랴 누가 우리를 알랴 하니
Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the LORD, who do their work in darkness and think, "Who sees us? Who will know?" Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? |

ㅊ너희의 悖理(패리)함이 甚(심)하도다 土器匠(토기장)이를 어찌 진흙같이 여기겠느냐 지음을 받은 物件(물건)이 어찌 自己(자기)를 지은 者(자)에 對(대)하여
이르기를 그가 나를 짓지 아니하였다 하겠으며 빚음을 받은 物件(물건)이 自己(자기)를 빚은 者(자)에 對(대)하여 이르기를 그가 聰明(총명)이 없다 하겠느냐

You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, "He did not make me"? Can the pot say of the potter, "He knows nothing"? Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding? |

● 未久(미구)에 ㅋ레바논이 기름진 밭으로 變(변)하지 않겠으며 기름진 밭이 森林(삼림)으로 여김이 되지 않겠느냐
In a very short time, will not Lebanon be turned into a fertile field and the fertile field seem like a forest? Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest? |

그 날에 ㅌ귀머거리가 ㅍ冊(책)의 말을 들을 것이며 어둡고 캄캄한 데서 ㅎ소경의 눈이 볼 것이며
In that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll, and out of gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see. And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. |

ㅏ謙遜(겸손)한 者(자)가 여호와를 因(인)하여 기쁨이 더하겠고 사람 中(중) 貧乏(빈핍)한 者(자)가 이스라엘의 거룩하신 者(자)를 因(인)하여 즐거워하리니
Once more the humble will rejoice in the LORD; the needy will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. |

이는 强暴(강포)한 者(자)가 燒滅(소멸)되었으며 ㅑ輕慢(경만)한 者(자)가 그쳤으며 罪惡(죄악)의 機會(기회)를 엿보던 者(자)가 다 끊어졌음이라
The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down-- For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off: |

그들은 訟事(송사)에 사람에게 罪(죄)를 입히며 ㅓ城門(성문)에서 判斷(판단)하는 者(자)를 올무로
잡듯하며 ㅕ헛된 일로 義人(의인)을 抑鬱(억울)케 하느니라
those who with a word make a man out to be guilty, who ensnare the defender in court and with false testimony deprive the innocent of justice. That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought. |

● 그러므로 ㅗ아브라함을 救贖(구속)하신 여호와께서 야곱 族屬(족속)에 對(대)하여 말씀하시되 야곱이 이제부터는
부끄러워 아니하겠고 그 얼굴이 이제부터는 失色(실색)하지 아니할 것이며

Therefore this is what the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, says to the house of Jacob: "No longer will Jacob be ashamed; no longer will their faces grow pale. Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale. |

그 4)子孫(자손)은 ㅛ나의 손으로 그 가운데서 行(행)한 것을 볼 때에 내 이름을 거룩하다 하며 ㅜ야곱의 거룩한 者(자)를 거룩하다 하며 이스라엘의 하나님을 敬畏(경외)할 것이며
When they see among them their children, the work of my hands, they will keep my name holy; they will acknowledge the holiness of the Holy One of Jacob, and will stand in awe of the God of Israel. But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel. |

ㅠ마음이 昏迷(혼미)하던 者(자)도 聰明(총명)하게 되며 怨望(원망)하던 者(자)도 敎訓(교훈)을 받으리라 하셨느니라

Those who are wayward in spirit will gain understanding; those who complain will accept instruction." They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine. |
