He is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father. But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. |

이와 같이 우리도 어렸을 때에 ㅋ이 世上(세상) 初等(초등) 學問(학문) 아래 있어서 ㅌ종노릇하였더니
So also, when we were children, we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: |

ㅍ때가 차매 하나님이 그 아들을 보내사 ㅎ女子(여자)에게서 나게 하시고 ㅏ律法(율법) 아래 ㅑ나게 하신 것은
But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, |

ㅓ律法(율법) 아래 있는 者(자)들을 贖良(속량)하시고 우리로 ㅕ아들의 名分(명분)을 얻게 하려 하심이라
to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. |

너희가 아들인 故(고)로 하나님이 ㅗ그 아들의 靈(영)을 우리 마음 가운데 보내사 아바 아버지라 부르게 하셨느니라
Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. |

그러므로 네가 이後(후)로는 종이 아니요 아들이니 아들이면 ㅛ하나님으로 말미암아 遺業(유업)을 이을 者(자)니라

So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. |

● 그러나 너희가 그 때에는 ㅜ하나님을 알지 못하여 本質上(본질상) ㅠ하나님이 아닌 者(자)들에게 으종노릇하였더니
Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods. Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. |

이제는 너희가 하나님을 알 뿐더러 이하나님의 아신 바 되었거늘 어찌하여 다시 ㅐ弱(약)하고 賤(천)한 初等(초등) 學問(학문)으로 ㄱ돌아 가서 다시 저희에게 종노릇하려 하느냐
But now that you know God--or rather are known by God--how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again? But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? |

ㄴ너희가 날과 달과 節期(절기)와 해를 삼가 지키니
You are observing special days and months and seasons and years! Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. |
11 |
ㄷ내가 너희를 爲(위)하여 受苦(수고)한 것이 헛될까 두려워하노라
I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain. |
12 |
● 兄弟(형제)들아 내가 너희와 같이 되었은즉 ㄹ너희도 나와 같이 되기를 求(구)하노라 ㅁ너희가 내게 害(해)롭게 하지 아니하였느니라
I plead with you, brothers, become like me, for I became like you. You have done me no wrong. Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all. |

내가 ㅂ처음에 ㅅ肉體(육체)의 弱(약)함을 因(인)하여 너희에게 福音(복음)을 傳(전)한 것을 너희가 아는 바라
As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you. Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first. |

너희를 試驗(시험)하는 것이 내 肉體(육체)에 있으되 이것을 너희가 업신여기지도 아니하며 버리지도 아니하고 오직 나를 ㅇ하나님의 天使(천사)와 같이 또는 ㅈ그리스도 예수와 같이 迎接(영접)하였도다
Even though my illness was a trial to you, you did not treat me with contempt or scorn. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself. And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. |

너희의 福(복)이 지금 어디 있느냐 내가 너희에게 證據(증거)하노니 너희가 할 수만 있었더면 너희의 눈이라도 빼어 나를 주었으리라
What has happened to all your joy? I can testify that, if you could have done so, you would have torn out your eyes and given them to me. Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me. |

그런즉 1)ㅊ내가 너희에게 참된 말을 하므로 怨讐(원수)가 되었느냐

Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth? Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? |

저희가 너희를 對(대)하여 熱心(열심)내는 것이 좋은 뜻이 아니요 오직 너희를 離間(이간) 붙여 너희로 저희를 對(대)하여 熱心(열심)내게 하려 함이라
Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good. What they want is to alienate you from us, so that you may be zealous for them. They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them. |

좋은 일에 對(대)하여 熱心(열심)으로 思慕(사모)함을 받음은 ㅋ내가 너희를 對(대)하였을 때뿐 아니라 언제든지 좋으니라

It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always and not just when I am with you. But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you. |

ㅌ나의 子女(자녀)들아 ㅍ너희 속에 그리스도의 形像(형상)이 이루기까지 ㅎ다시 너를 爲(위)하여 解産(해산)하는 受苦(수고)를 하노니
My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you, My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, |

내가 이제라도 너희와 함께 있어 내 音聲(음성)을 變(변)하려 함은 너희를 對(대)하여 疑心(의심)이 있음이라
how I wish I could be with you now and change my tone, because I am perplexed about you! I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you. |

● 내게 말하라 律法(율법) 아래 있고자 하는 者(자)들아 律法(율법)을 듣지 못하였느냐
Tell me, you who want to be under the law, are you not aware of what the law says? Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? |
22 |
記錄(기록)된 바 아브라함이 두 아들이 있으니 ㅏ하나는 계집종에게서 ㅑ하나는 自由(자유)하는 女子(여자)에게서 났다 하였으나
For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman. For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. |

ㅓ계집종에게서는 肉體(육체)를 따라 났고 ㅕ自由(자유)하는 女子(여자)에게서는 約束(약속)으로 말미암았느니라
His son by the slave woman was born in the ordinary way; but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a promise. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. |

이것은 譬喩(비유)니 이 女子(여자)들은 두 ㅗ言約(언약)이라 ㅛ하나는 시내山(산)으로부터 종을 낳은 者(자)니 곧 하가라
These things may be taken figuratively, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. |

이 하가는 아라비아에 있는 시내山(산)으로 지금 있는 예루살렘과 같은 데니 저가 그 子女(자녀)들로 더불어 종노릇하고
Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. |

오직 ㅜ위에 있는 예루살렘은 自由者(자유자)니 곧 우리 어머니라
But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. |

記錄(기록)된 바 ㅠ孕胎(잉태)치 못한 者(자)여 즐거워하라 구로치 못한 者(자)여 소리 질러 외치라 이는 2)홀로 사는 者(자)의 子女(자녀)가 男便(남편) 있는 者(자)의 子女(자녀)보다 많음이라 하였으니

For it is written: "Be glad, O barren woman, who bears no children; break forth and cry aloud, you who have no labor pains; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband." For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband. |

兄弟(형제)들아 너희는 으이삭과 같이 이約束(약속)의 子女(자녀)라
Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. |

그러나 그 때에 肉體(육체)를 따라 난 者(자)가 ㅐ聖靈(성령)을 따라 난 者(자)를 逼迫(핍박)한 것같이 ㄱ이제도 그러하도다
At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. |

그러나 聖經(성경)이 무엇을 말하느뇨 ㄴ계집종과 그 아들을 내어 쫓으라 계집종의 아들이 自由(자유)하는 女子(여자)의 아들로 더불어 遺業(유업)을 얻지 못하리라 하였느니라
But what does the Scripture say? "Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman's son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman's son." Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. |

그런즉 兄弟(형제)들아 우리는 계집종의 子女(자녀)가 아니요 ㄷ自由(자유)하는 女子(여자)의 子女(자녀)니라

Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman. So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free. |
