ㅇ先知者(선지자)의 生徒(생도)의 아내 中(중)에 한 女人(여인)이 엘리사에게 부르짖어 가로되 當身(당신)의 종 나의 男便(남편)이 이미 죽었는데 當身(당신)의
종이 여호와를 敬畏(경외)한 줄은 當身(당신)이 아시는 바니이다 ㅈ이제 債主(채주)가 이르러 나의 두 아이를 取(취)하여 그 종을 삼고자 하나이다
The wife of a man from the company of the prophets cried out to Elisha, "Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that he revered the LORD. But now his creditor is coming to take my two boys as his slaves." Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. |

엘리사가 저에게 이르되 내가 너를 爲(위)하여 어떻게 하랴 네 집에 무엇이 있는지 내게 告(고)하라 저가 가로되 계집종의 집에 한 甁(병) 기름 外(외)에는 아무 것도 없나이다
Elisha replied to her, "How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?" "Your servant has nothing there at all," she said, "except a little oil." And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. |

가로되 너는 밖에 나가서 모든 이웃에게 그릇을 빌라 빈 그릇을 빌되 조금 빌지말고
Elisha said, "Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don't ask for just a few. Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. |

너는 네 두 아들과 함께 들어가서 문을 닫고 그 모든 그릇에 기름을 부어서 차는 대로 옮겨 놓으라
Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons. Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side." And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. |

女人(여인)이 물러가서 그 두 아들과 함께 門(문)을 닫은 後(후)에 저희는 그릇을 그에게로 가져 오고 그는 부었더니
She left him and afterward shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring. So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. |

그릇에 다 찬지라 女人(여인)이 아들에게 이르되 또 그릇을 내게로 가져오라 아들이 가로되 다른 그릇이 없나이다 하니 기름이 곧 그쳤더라
When all the jars were full, she said to her son, "Bring me another one." But he replied, "There is not a jar left." Then the oil stopped flowing. And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. |

그 女人(여인)이 ㅊ하나님의 사람에게 나아가서 告(고)한대 저가 가로되 너는 가서 기름을 팔아 빚을 갚고 남은 것으로 너와 네 두 아들이 生活(생활)하라 하였더라

She went and told the man of God, and he said, "Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left." Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest. |

● 하루는 엘리사가 ㅋ수넴에 이르렀더니 거기 한 ㅌ貴(귀)한 女人(여인)이 저를 懇勸(간권)하여 飮食(음식)을 먹게 한 故(고)로 엘리사가 그곳을 지날 때마다 飮食(음식)을 먹으러 그리로 들어갔더라
One day Elisha went to Shunem. And a well-to-do woman was there, who urged him to stay for a meal. So whenever he came by, he stopped there to eat. And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread. |

女人(여인)이 그 男便(남편)에게 이르되 恒常(항상) 우리에게로 지나는 이 사람은 하나님의 거룩한 사람인 줄을 내가 아노니
She said to her husband, "I know that this man who often comes our way is a holy man of God. And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually. |

우리가 저를 爲(위)하여 작은 房(방)을 담 위에 짓고 寢床(침상)과 冊床(책상)과 椅子(의자)와 촛대를 陳設(진설)하사이다 저가 우리에게 이르면 거기 留(유)하리이다 하였더라
Let's make a small room on the roof and put in it a bed and a table, a chair and a lamp for him. Then he can stay there whenever he comes to us." Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither. |

하루는 엘리사가 거기 이르러 그 房(방)에 들어가서 누웠더니
One day when Elisha came, he went up to his room and lay down there. And it fell on a day, that he came thither, and he turned into the chamber, and lay there. |
12 |
自己(자기) 使喚(사환) ㅍ게하시에게 이르되 이 수넴 女人(여인)을 불러오라 곧 부르매 女人(여인)이 그 앞에 선지라
He said to his servant Gehazi, "Call the Shunammite." So he called her, and she stood before him. And he said to Gehazi his servant, Call this Shunammite. And when he had called her, she stood before him. |

엘리사가 自己(자기) 使喚(사환)에게 이르되 너는 저에게 이르라 네가 이같이 우리를 爲(위)하여 생각이 周密(주밀)하도다 내가 너를 爲(위)하여 어떻게 하랴 王(왕)에게나 ㅎ軍隊(군대) 長官(장관)에게 무슨 求(구)할 것이 있느냐
女人(여인)이 가로되 나는 내 百姓(백성) 中(중)에 居(거)하나이다 하니라
Elisha said to him, "Tell her, 'You have gone to all this trouble for us. Now what can be done for you? Can we speak on your behalf to the king or the commander of the army?'" She replied, "I have a home among my own people." And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people. |

엘리사가 가로되 그러면 저를 爲(위)하여 무엇을 하여야 할꼬 게하시가 對答(대답)하되 참으로 이 女人(여인)은 아들이 없고 그 男便(남편)은 늙었나이다
What can be done for her? Elisha asked. Gehazi said, "Well, she has no son and her husband is old." And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old. |

가로되 다시 부르라 부르매 女人(여인)이 門(문)에 서니라
Then Elisha said, "Call her." So he called her, and she stood in the doorway. And he said, Call her. And when he had called her, she stood in the door. |

엘리사가 가로되 ㅏ돐이 되면 네가 아들을 안으리라 女人(여인)이 가로되 아니로소이다 내 主(주) 하나님의 사람이여 ㅑ當身(당신)의 계집종을 속이지
마옵소서 하니라
About this time next year, Elisha said, "you will hold a son in your arms." "No, my lord," she objected. "Don't mislead your servant, O man of God!" And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid. |

● 女人(여인)이 果然(과연) 孕胎(잉태)하여 돐이 돌아오매 엘리사의 말한대로 아들을 낳았더라
But the woman became pregnant, and the next year about that same time she gave birth to a son, just as Elisha had told her. And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life. |

그 아이가 저으기 자라매 하루는 穀食(곡식) 베는 者(자)에게 나가서 그 아비에게 이르렀더니
The child grew, and one day he went out to his father, who was with the reapers. And when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to the reapers. |
19 |
그 아비에게 이르되 ㅓ내 머리야 내 머리야 하는지라 그 아비가 使喚(사환)에게 命(명)하여 그 어미에게로 데려가라 하매

My head! My head! he said to his father. His father told a servant, "Carry him to his mother." And he said unto his father, My head, my head. And he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother. |

곧 어미에게로 데려갔더니 낮까지 어미의 무릎에 앉았다가 죽은지라
After the servant had lifted him up and carried him to his mother, the boy sat on her lap until noon, and then he died. And when he had taken him, and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died. |

그 어미가 올라가서 ㅕ아들을 하나님의 사람의 寢床(침상) 위에 두고 門(문)을 닫고 나와서

She went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, then shut the door and went out. And she went up, and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out. |

그 男便(남편)을 불러 이르되 請(청)컨대 한 使喚(사환)과 한 나귀를 내게로 보내소서 내가 하나님의 사람에게 달려갔다가 돌아오리이다
She called her husband and said, "Please send me one of the servants and a donkey so I can go to the man of God quickly and return." And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again. |

그 男便(남편)이 가로되 ㅗ初(초)하루도 아니요 安息日(안식일)도 아니어늘 그대가 오늘날 어찌하여 저에게 나아가고자 하느뇨 女人(여인)이 가로되 平安(평안)이니이다

Why go to him today? he asked. "It's not the New Moon or the Sabbath." "It's all right," she said. And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well. |

이에 나귀에 鞍裝(안장)을 지우고 自己(자기) 使喚(사환)에게 이르되 몰아 앞으로 나아가라 내가 말하지 아니하거든 나의 달려가기를 천천하게 하지 말라 하고
She saddled the donkey and said to her servant, "Lead on; don't slow down for me unless I tell you." Then she saddled an ass, and said to her servant, Drive, and go forward; slack not thy riding for me, except I bid thee. |

● 드디어 ㅛ갈멜山(산)으로 가서 하나님의 사람에게로 나아가니라 하나님의 사람이 멀리서 저를 보고 自己(자기) 使喚(사환)
게하시에게 이르되 저기 수넴 女人(여인)이 있도다

So she set out and came to the man of God at Mount Carmel. When he saw her in the distance, the man of God said to his servant Gehazi, "Look! There's the Shunammite! So she went and came unto the man of God to mount Carmel. And it came to pass, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite: |

너는 달려가서 저를 맞아 이르기를 너는 平安(평안)하냐 네 男便(남편)이 平安(평안)하냐 아이가 平安(평안)하냐 하라 하였더니 女人(여인)이 對答(대답)하되 平安(평안)하다 하고
Run to meet her and ask her, 'Are you all right? Is your husband all right? Is your child all right?'" "Everything is all right," she said. Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well. |

ㅜ山(산)에 이르러 하나님의 사람에게 나아가서 그 발을 안은지라 게하시가 가까이 와서 저를 물리치고자 하매 하나님의 사람이 가로되 가만 두라 그 中心(중심)에 괴로움이 있다마는
여호와께서 내게 숨기시고 이르지 아니하셨도다

When she reached the man of God at the mountain, she took hold of his feet. Gehazi came over to push her away, but the man of God said, "Leave her alone! She is in bitter distress, but the LORD has hidden it from me and has not told me why." And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the man of God said, Let her alone; for her soul is vexed within her: and the LORD hath hid it from me, and hath not told me. |

女人(여인)이 가로되 내가 내 主(주)께 아들을 求(구)하더이까 ㅠ나를 속이지 말라고 내가 말하지 아니하더이까

Did I ask you for a son, my lord? she said. "Didn't I tell you, 'Don't raise my hopes'?" Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me? |

엘리사가 게하시에게 이르되 으네 허리를 묶고 내 지팡이를 손에 들고 가라 사람을 만나거든 이人事(인사)하지 말며 사람이 네게 人事(인사)할찌라도 對答(대답)하지 말고
ㅐ내 지팡이를 그 아이 얼굴에 놓으라
Elisha said to Gehazi, "Tuck your cloak into your belt, take my staff in your hand and run. If you meet anyone, do not greet him, and if anyone greets you, do not answer. Lay my staff on the boy's face." Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not; and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff upon the face of the child. |

아이의 어미가 가로되 ㄱ여호와의 사심과 當身(당신)의 魂(혼)의 사심을 가리켜 盟誓(맹세)하노니 내가 當身(당신)을 떠나지 아니하리이다 엘리사가 이에 일어나 女人(여인)을 좇아가니라

게하시가 저희의 앞서 가서 지팡이를 그 아이의 얼굴에 놓았으나 소리도 없고 듣는 貌樣(모양)도 없는지라 돌아와서 엘리사를 맞아 가로되 ㄴ아이가 깨지 아니하였나이다

Gehazi went on ahead and laid the staff on the boy's face, but there was no sound or response. So Gehazi went back to meet Elisha and told him, "The boy has not awakened." And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the staff upon the face of the child; but there was neither voice, nor hearing. Wherefore he went again to meet him, and told him, saying, The child is not awaked. |

● 엘리사가 집에 들어가 보니 아이가 죽었는데 自己(자기)의 寢床(침상)에 눕혔는지라
When Elisha reached the house, there was the boy lying dead on his couch. And when Elisha was come into the house, behold, the child was dead, and laid upon his bed. |
33 |
들어가서는 ㄷ門(문)을 닫으니 두 사람 뿐이라 ㄹ엘리사가 여호와께 祈禱(기도)하고
He went in, shut the door on the two of them and prayed to the LORD. He went in therefore, and shut the door upon them twain, and prayed unto the LORD. |

아이의 위에 올라 엎드려 自己(자기) 입을 그 입에, 自己(자기) 눈을 그 눈에, 自己(자기) 손을 그 손에 대고 ㅁ그 몸에 엎드리니 아이의 살이 次次(차차) 따뜻하더라
Then he got on the bed and lay upon the boy, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hands to hands. As he stretched himself out upon him, the boy's body grew warm. And he went up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands: and he stretched himself upon the child; and the flesh of the child waxed warm. |

엘리사가 내려서 집 안에서 한 番(번) 이리 저리 다니고 다시 아이 위에 올라 엎드리니 아이가 일곱 番(번) 재채기 하고 눈을 뜨는지라
Elisha turned away and walked back and forth in the room and then got on the bed and stretched out upon him once more. The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes. Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes. |

엘리사가 게하시를 불러서 저 수넴 女人(여인)을 불러오라 하니 곧 부르매 女人(여인)이 들어가니 엘리사가 가로되 네 아들을 取(취)하라
Elisha summoned Gehazi and said, "Call the Shunammite." And he did. When she came, he said, "Take your son." And he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite. So he called her. And when she was come in unto him, he said, Take up thy son. |

女人(여인)이 들어가서 엘리사의 발 앞에서 땅에 엎드려 절하고 ㅂ아들을 안고 나가니라
She came in, fell at his feet and bowed to the ground. Then she took her son and went out. Then she went in, and fell at his feet, and bowed herself to the ground, and took up her son, and went out. |

● 엘리사가 다시 ㅅ길갈에 이르니 그 땅에 ㅇ凶年(흉년)이 들었는데 ㅈ先知者(선지자)의 生徒(생도)가 ㅊ엘리사의 앞에 앉은지라
엘리사가 自己(자기) 使喚(사환)에게 이르되 ㅋ큰 솥을 걸고 先知者(선지자)의 生徒(생도)들을 爲(위)하여 국을 끓이라 하매
Elisha returned to Gilgal and there was a famine in that region. While the company of the prophets was meeting with him, he said to his servant, "Put on the large pot and cook some stew for these men." And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets. |

한 사람이 菜蔬(채소)를 캐러 들에 나가서 野藤(야등)덩굴을 만나 그것에서 들 외를 따서 옷자락에 채워가지고 돌아와서 썰어 국 끓이는 솥에 넣되 저희는 무엇인지 알지 못한지라
One of them went out into the fields to gather herbs and found a wild vine. He gathered some of its gourds and filled the fold of his cloak. When he returned, he cut them up into the pot of stew, though no one knew what they were. And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not. |

이에 퍼다가 무리에게 주어 먹게 하였더니 무리가 국을 먹다가 외쳐 가로되 하나님의 사람이여 솥에 死亡(사망)의 毒(독)이 있나이다 하고 能(능)히 먹지 못하는지라
The stew was poured out for the men, but as they began to eat it, they cried out, "O man of God, there is death in the pot!" And they could not eat it. So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot. And they could not eat thereof. |

엘리사가 가로되 그러면 가루를 가져오라 하여 ㅌ솥에 던지고 가로되 퍼다가 무리에게 주어 먹게 하라 하매 이에 솥 가운데 害毒(해독)이 없어지니라
Elisha said, "Get some flour." He put it into the pot and said, "Serve it to the people to eat." And there was nothing harmful in the pot. But he said, Then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot. |

● 한 사람이 ㅍ바알살리사에서부터 와서 ㅎ처음 익은 植物(식물) 곧 보리떡 二十(이십)과 또 자루에 담은 菜蔬(채소)를 하나님의 사람에게 드린지라 저가 가로되
ㅏ무리에게 주어 먹게하라
A man came from Baal Shalishah, bringing the man of God twenty loaves of barley bread baked from the first ripe grain, along with some heads of new grain. "Give it to the people to eat," Elisha said. And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat. |

그 使喚(사환)이 가로되 어찜이니이까 이것을 一百名(일백명)에게 베풀겠나이까 하나 엘리사는 또 가로되 무리에게 주어 먹게 하라 여호와의 말씀이 무리가 먹고 남으리라 하셨느니라
How can I set this before a hundred men? his servant asked. But Elisha answered, "Give it to the people to eat. For this is what the LORD says: 'They will eat and have some left over.'" And his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith the LORD, They shall eat, and shall leave thereof. |

저가 드디어 무리 앞에 베풀었더니 여호와의 말씀과 같이 다 먹고 남았더라
Then he set it before them, and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of the LORD. So he set it before them, and they did eat, and left thereof, according to the word of the LORD. |
