부르기를 네 어미는 무엇이냐 ㅂ암獅子(사자)라 그가 獅子(사자)들 가운데 엎드리어 젊은 獅子(사자) 中(중)에서 그 새끼를 기르는데

and say: "'What a lioness was your mother among the lions! She lay down among the young lions and reared her cubs.

그 새끼 하나를 키우매 ㅅ젊은 獅子(사자)가 되어 植物(식물) ㅇ움키기를 배워 사람을 삼키매
She brought up one of her cubs, and he became a strong lion. He learned to tear the prey and he devoured men.

4 |
異邦(이방)이 듣고 ㅈ陷穽(함정)으로 그를 잡아 ㅊ갈고리로 꿰어ㅋ끌고 애굽 땅으로 간지라
The nations heard about him, and he was trapped in their pit. They led him with hooks to the land of Egypt.

5 |
암獅子(사자)가 기다리다가 所望(소망)이 끊어진 줄을 알고 ㅌ그 새끼 하나를 또 取(취)하여 젊은 獅子(사자)가 되게 하니
When she saw her hope unfulfilled, her expectation gone, she took another of her cubs and made him a strong lion.

젊은 獅子(사자)가 되매 여러 獅子(사자) 가운데 往來(왕래)하며 植物(식물) 움키기를 배워 사람을 삼키며
He prowled among the lions, for he was now a strong lion. He learned to tear the prey and he devoured men.

1)그의 宮室(궁실)들을 헐고 城邑(성읍)들을 毁破(훼파)하니 그 우는 소리로 因(인)하여 땅과 그 가득한 것이 荒蕪(황무)한지라
1) 과부를 알고
He broke down their strongholds and devastated their towns. The land and all who were in it were terrified by his roaring.

ㅍ異邦(이방)이 둘려 있는 地方(지방)에서 그를 치러 와서 그의 위에 ㅎ그물을 치고 陷穽(함정)에 잡아
Then the nations came against him, those from regions round about. They spread their net for him, and he was trapped in their pit.

9 |
갈고리로 꿰고 鐵籠(철롱)에 넣어 ㅏ끌고 바벨론 王(왕)에게 이르렀나니 그를 獄(옥)에 가두어서 그 소리로 다시 ㅑ이스라엘 山(산)에 들리지 않게 하려 함이니라
With hooks they pulled him into a cage and brought him to the king of Babylon. They put him in prison, so his roar was heard no longer on the mountains of Israel.

● 네 피의 어미는 ㅓ물 가에 심긴 葡萄(포도)나무 같아서 ㅕ물이 많으므로 ㅗ實果(실과)가 많고 가지가 茂盛(무성)하며
Your mother was like a vine in your vineyard planted by the water; it was fruitful and full of branches because of abundant water.

그 가지들은 堅强(견강)하여 權勢(권세) 잡은 者(자)의 笏(홀)이 될만한데 그 하나의 키가 굵은 가지 가운데서 높았으며 많은 가지 가운데서 뛰어나서 보이다가
Its branches were strong, fit for a ruler's scepter. It towered high above the thick foliage, conspicuous for its height and for its many branches.

憤怒(분노) 中(중)에 뽑혀서 땅에 던짐을 當(당)하매 그 實果(실과)는 ㅛ東風(동풍)에 마르고 그 堅强(견강)한 가지들은 꺾이고 말라 불에 탔더니
But it was uprooted in fury and thrown to the ground. The east wind made it shrivel, it was stripped of its fruit; its strong branches withered and fire consumed them.

ㅜ이제는 曠野(광야), 메마르고 가물이 든 땅에 심긴바 되고
Now it is planted in the desert, in a dry and thirsty land.

14 |
ㅠ불이 그 가지 中(중) 하나에서부터 나와서 그 實果(실과)를 태우니 으權勢(권세) 잡은 者(자)의 笏(홀)이 될만한 堅强(견강)한 가지가 없도다 이것이 이哀歌(애가)라 後(후)에도 哀歌(애가)가 되리라
Fire spread from one of its main branches and consumed its fruit. No strong branch is left on it fit for a ruler's scepter.' This is a lament and is to be used as a lament."
