He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, following the detestable practices of the nations the LORD had driven out before the Israelites. But did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, like unto the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel. |

그 ㄷ父親(부친) 히스기야의 헐어버린 山堂(산당)을 다시 세우며 바알들을 爲(위)하여 壇(단)을 쌓으며 ㄹ아세라 木像(목상)을 만들며 ㅁ하늘의 日月(일월) 星辰(성신)을 崇拜(숭배)하여 섬기며
He rebuilt the high places his father Hezekiah had demolished; he also erected altars to the Baals and made Asherah poles. He bowed down to all the starry hosts and worshiped them. For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them. |

He built altars in the temple of the LORD, of which the LORD had said, "My Name will remain in Jerusalem forever." Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever. |

또 ㅅ여호와의 殿(전) 두 마당에 하늘의 日月(일월) 星辰(성신)을 爲(위)하여 壇(단)들을 쌓고

In both courts of the temple of the LORD, he built altars to all the starry hosts. And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD. |

ㅇ또 힌놈의 아들 골짜기에서 ㅈ그 아들들을 불 가운데로 지나게 하며 또 ㅊ占(점)치며 邪術(사술)과 妖術(요술)을 行(행)하며 ㅋ神接(신접)한 者(자)와 박수를 信任(신임)하여 여호와 보시기에 惡(악)을 많이 行(행)하여 그 震怒(진노)를 激發(격발)하였으며
He sacrificed his sons in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced sorcery, divination and witchcraft, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, provoking him to anger. And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger. |

또 ㅌ自己(자기)가 만든 아로새긴 木像(목상)을 하나님의 殿(전)에 세웠더라 옛적에 하나님이 이 殿(전)에 對(대)하여 다윗과 그 아들 솔로몬에게 이르시기를 내가 이스라엘 모든 支派(지파) 中(중)에서 擇(택)한 이 殿(전)과 예루살렘에 내 이름을 永遠(영원)히 둘지라

He took the carved image he had made and put it in God's temple, of which God had said to David and to his son Solomon, "In this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my Name forever. And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever: |

萬一(만일) 이스라엘 사람이 내가 命(명)한 일 곧 모세로 傳(전)한 모든 律法(율법)과 律例(율례)와 規例(규례)를 지켜 行(행)하면 내가 그들의 발로 다시는 ㅍ그 列祖(열조)에게 定(정)하여 준 땅에서 옮기지 않게 하리라 하셨으나

I will not again make the feet of the Israelites leave the land I assigned to your forefathers, if only they will be careful to do everything I commanded them concerning all the laws, decrees and ordinances given through Moses." Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses. |

유다와 예루살렘 居民(거민)이 므낫세의 꾀임을 받고 惡(악)을 行(행)한 것이 여호와께서 이스라엘 子孫(자손) 앞에서 滅(멸)하신 列邦(열방)보다 더욱 甚(심)하였더라
But Manasseh led Judah and the people of Jerusalem astray, so that they did more evil than the nations the LORD had destroyed before the Israelites. So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err, and to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel. |

● 여호와께서 므낫세와 그 百姓(백성)에게 이르셨으나 저희가 듣지 아니한 故(고)로
The LORD spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they paid no attention. And the LORD spake to Manasseh, and to his people: but they would not hearken. |
11 |
ㅎ여호와께서 앗수르 王(왕)의 軍隊(군대) 長官(장관)들로 와서 치게 하시매 저희가 므낫세를 사로잡고 ㅏ쇠사슬로 結縛(결박)하여 ㅑ바벨론으로 끌어 간지라
So the LORD brought against them the army commanders of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh prisoner, put a hook in his nose, bound him with bronze shackles and took him to Babylon. Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon. |

저가 患難(환난)을 當(당)하여 그 하나님 여호와께 懇求(간구)하고 ㅓ그 列祖(열조)의 하나님 앞에 크게 兼備(겸비)하여

In his distress he sought the favor of the LORD his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, |

祈禱(기도)한 故(고)로 ㅕ하나님이 그 祈禱(기도)를 받으시며 그 懇求(간구)를 들으시사 저로 예루살렘에 돌아와서 다시 王位(왕위)에 居(거)하게 하시매 ㅗ므낫세가 그제야 여호와께서 하나님이신 줄을 알았더라
And when he prayed to him, the LORD was moved by his entreaty and listened to his plea; so he brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD is God. And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he was God. |

● 그 後(후)에 ㅛ다윗 城(성) 밖 기혼 西便(서편) 골짜기 안에 外城(외성)을 쌓되 ㅜ生鮮門(생선문) 어귀까지 이르러 ㅠ오벨을 둘러 甚(심)히 높이 쌓고 또 유다 모든 堅固(견고)한 城邑(성읍)에 軍隊(군대) 長官(장관)을 두며
Afterward he rebuilt the outer wall of the City of David, west of the Gihon spring in the valley, as far as the entrance of the Fish Gate and encircling the hill of Ophel; he also made it much higher. He stationed military commanders in all the fortified cities in Judah. Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah. |

으異邦(이방) 神(신)들과 여호와의 殿(전)의 偶像(우상)을 除(제)하며 여호와의 殿(전)을 建築(건축)한 山(산)에와 예루살렘에 쌓은 모든 壇(단)을 다 城(성) 밖에 던지고
He got rid of the foreign gods and removed the image from the temple of the LORD, as well as all the altars he had built on the temple hill and in Jerusalem; and he threw them out of the city. And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the LORD, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city. |

여호와의 壇(단)을 重修(중수)하고 和睦祭(화목제)와 感謝祭(감사제)를 그 壇(단) 위에 드리고 유다를 命(명)하여 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 섬기라 하매
Then he restored the altar of the LORD and sacrificed fellowship offerings and thank offerings on it, and told Judah to serve the LORD, the God of Israel. And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel. |

이百姓(백성)이 그 하나님 여호와께만 祭祀(제사)를 드렸으나 오히려 山堂(산당)에서 祭祀(제사)를 드렸더라

The people, however, continued to sacrifice at the high places, but only to the LORD their God. Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places, yet unto the LORD their God only. |

므낫세의 남은 事蹟(사적)과 그 ㅐ하나님께 祈禱(기도)한 말씀과 ㄱ先見者(선견자)가 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 이름을 받들고 勸(권)한 말씀이 모두 ㄴ이스라엘 列王(열왕)의 行狀(행장)에 記錄(기록)되었고
The other events of Manasseh's reign, including his prayer to his God and the words the seers spoke to him in the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, are written in the annals of the kings of Israel. Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to him in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel. |

또 그 祈禱(기도)와 그 祈禱(기도)를 들으신 것과 그 모든 罪(죄)와 愆過(건과)와 兼備(겸비)하기 殿(전)에 ㄷ山堂(산당)을 세운 곳과 아세라 木像(목상)과 偶像(우상)을 세운 곳들이 다 호새의 史記(사기)에 記錄(기록)되니라

His prayer and how God was moved by his entreaty, as well as all his sins and unfaithfulness, and the sites where he built high places and set up Asherah poles and idols before he humbled himself--all are written in the records of the seers. His prayer also, and how God was intreated of him, and all his sin, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers. |

므낫세가 그 列祖(열조)와 함께 자매 그 宮(궁)에 葬事(장사)하고 그 아들 아몬이 代身(대신)하여 王(왕)이 되니라
Manasseh rested with his fathers and was buried in his palace. And Amon his son succeeded him as king. So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his stead. |

● ㄹ아몬이 位(위)에 나아갈 때에 나이 二十二歲(이십이세)라 예루살렘에서 二年(이년)을 治理(치리)하며
Amon was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem two years. Amon was two and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned two years in Jerusalem. |

그 父親(부친) 므낫세의 行(행)함같이 여호와 보시기에 惡(악)을 行(행)하여 그 父親(부친) 므낫세가 만든 아로새긴 모든 ㅁ偶像(우상)에게 祭祀(제사)하여 섬겼으며
He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, as his father Manasseh had done. Amon worshiped and offered sacrifices to all the idols Manasseh had made. But he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as did Manasseh his father: for Amon sacrificed unto all the carved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them; |
23 |
이 아몬이 그 父親(부친) ㅂ므낫세의 스스로 兼備(겸비)함 같이 여호와 앞에서 스스로 兼備(겸비)치 아니하고 더욱 犯罪(범죄)하더니

But unlike his father Manasseh, he did not humble himself before the LORD; Amon increased his guilt. And humbled not himself before the LORD, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more. |
24 |
그 臣僕(신복)이 叛逆(반역)하여 王(왕)을 宮中(궁중)에서 죽이매
Amon's officials conspired against him and assassinated him in his palace. And his servants conspired against him, and slew him in his own house. |
25 |
國民(국민)이 아몬 王(왕)을 叛逆(반역)한 사람들을 다 죽이고 그 아들 요시야로 代身(대신)하여 王(왕)을 삼으니라
Then the people of the land killed all who had plotted against King Amon, and they made Josiah his son king in his place. But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead. |
