and said to them, "You have done all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded, and you have obeyed me in everything I commanded. And said unto them, Ye have kept all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, and have obeyed my voice in all that I commanded you: |

오늘날까지 날이 오래도록 너희가 너희 兄弟(형제)를 떠나지 아니하고 오직 너희 하나님 여호와의 命(명)하신 그 責任(책임)을 지키도다
For a long time now--to this very day--you have not deserted your brothers but have carried out the mission the LORD your God gave you. Ye have not left your brethren these many days unto this day, but have kept the charge of the commandment of the LORD your God. |

ㄴ이제는 너희 하나님 여호와께서 이미 말씀하신 대로 너희 兄弟(형제)에게 安息(안식)을 주셨으니 그런즉 이제 너희는 여호와의 종 모세가 요단 저便(편)에서 너희에게 준
ㄷ所有地(소유지)로 가서 너희의 帳幕(장막)으로 돌아가되
Now that the LORD your God has given your brothers rest as he promised, return to your homes in the land that Moses the servant of the LORD gave you on the other side of the Jordan. And now the LORD your God hath given rest unto your brethren, as he promised them: therefore now return ye, and get you unto your tents, and unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave you on the other side Jordan. |

ㄹ크게 삼가 여호와의 종 모세가 너희에게 命(명)한 命令(명령)과 律法(율법)을 行(행)하여 ㅁ너희 하나님 여호와를 사랑하고 그 모든 길로 行(행)하며 그
誡命(계명)을 지켜 그에게 親近(친근)히 하고 너희 마음을 다하며 性稟(성품)을 다하여 그를 섬길찌니라 하고
But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the LORD gave you: to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to obey his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and all your soul." But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. |

ㅅ其他(기타) 半(반) 支派(지파)에게는 여호수아가 요단 이便(편) 西便(서편)에서 그 兄弟(형제) 中(중)에서 基業(기업)을 준지라
여호수아가 그들을 그 帳幕(장막)으로 돌려보낼 때에 그들에게 祝福(축복)하고

(To the half-tribe of Manasseh Moses had given land in Bashan, and to the other half of the tribe Joshua gave land on the west side of the Jordan with their brothers.) When Joshua sent them home, he blessed them, Now to the one half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given possession in Bashan: but unto the other half thereof gave Joshua among their brethren on this side Jordan westward. And when Joshua sent them away also unto their tents, then he blessed them, |

일러 가로되 너희는 많은 財産(재산)과 甚(심)히 많은 家畜(가축)과 銀(은) 金(금), 銅(동), 鐵(철)과 甚(심)히 많은 衣服(의복)을 가지고 너희의 帳幕(장막)으로 돌아가서 너희 對敵(대적)에게서 奪取(탈취)한 것을 ㅇ너희의 兄弟(형제)와 나눌찌니라 하매
saying, "Return to your homes with your great wealth--with large herds of livestock, with silver, gold, bronze and iron, and a great quantity of clothing--and divide with your brothers the plunder from your enemies." And he spake unto them, saying, Return with much riches unto your tents, and with very much cattle, with silver, and with gold, and with brass, and with iron, and with very much raiment: divide the spoil of your enemies with your brethren. |

르우벤 子孫(자손)과 갓 子孫(자손)과 므낫세 半(반) 支派(지파)가 가나안 땅 실로에서 이스라엘 子孫(자손)을 떠나 여호와께서 모세로 命(명)하신 대로 얻은 땅 곧 그 所有地(소유지)
ㅈ길르앗으로 가니라
So the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh left the Israelites at Shiloh in Canaan to return to Gilead, their own land, which they had acquired in accordance with the command of the LORD through Moses. And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go unto the country of Gilead, to the land of their possession, whereof they were possessed, according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses. |

● 르우벤 子孫(자손)과 므낫세 半(반) 支派(지파)가 가나안 땅 요단 언덕 가에 이르자 거기서 요단 가에 壇(단)을 쌓았는데 볼 만한 큰 壇(단)이었더라
When they came to Geliloth near the Jordan in the land of Canaan, the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh built an imposing altar there by the Jordan. And when they came unto the borders of Jordan, that are in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by Jordan, a great altar to see to. |

이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 ㅊ들은즉 이르기를 르우벤 子孫(자손)과 갓 子孫(자손)과 므낫세 半(반) 支派(지파)가 가나안 땅의 맨 앞便(편) 요단 언덕 가 이스라엘 子孫(자손)에게
屬(속)한 便(편)에 壇(단)을 쌓았다 하는지라
And when the Israelites heard that they had built the altar on the border of Canaan at Geliloth near the Jordan on the Israelite side, And the children of Israel heard say, Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh have built an altar over against the land of Canaan, in the borders of Jordan, at the passage of the children of Israel. |

이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 이를 듣자 곧 ㅋ이스라엘 子孫(자손)의 온 會衆(회중)이 실로에 모여서 그들과 싸우러 가려하니라

the whole assembly of Israel gathered at Shiloh to go to war against them. And when the children of Israel heard of it, the whole congregation of the children of Israel gathered themselves together at Shiloh, to go up to war against them. |

● 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 祭司長(제사장) 엘르아살의 아들 ㅌ비느하스를 길르앗 땅으로 보내어 르우벤 子孫(자손)과 갓 子孫(자손)과 므낫세 半(반) 支派(지파)를 보게 하되
So the Israelites sent Phinehas son of Eleazar, the priest, to the land of Gilead--to Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh. And the children of Israel sent unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, into the land of Gilead, Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, |

이스라엘 各(각) 支派(지파)에서 한 方伯(방백)씩 열 方伯(방백)을 그와 함께 하게 하니 그들은 各其(각기) 이스라엘 千萬人(천만인) 中(중)

With him they sent ten of the chief men, one for each of the tribes of Israel, each the head of a family division among the Israelite clans. And with him ten princes, of each chief house a prince throughout all the tribes of Israel; and each one was an head of the house of their fathers among the thousands of Israel. |

그들이 길르앗 땅에 이르러 르우벤 子孫(자손)과 갓 子孫(자손)과 므낫세 半(반) 支派(지파)에게 나아가서 그들에게 말하여 가로되
When they went to Gilead--to Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh--they said to them: And they came unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, unto the land of Gilead, and they spake with them, saying, |

여호와의 온 會衆(회중)이 말하기를 너희가 어찌하여 이스라엘 하나님께 犯罪(범죄)하여 오늘날 여호와를 좇는 데서 떠나서 自己(자기)를 爲(위)하여 壇(단)을 쌓아 ㅎ여호와를
拒逆(거역)하고자 하느냐
The whole assembly of the LORD says: 'How could you break faith with the God of Israel like this? How could you turn away from the LORD and build yourselves an altar in rebellion against him now? Thus saith the whole congregation of the LORD, What trespass is this that ye have committed against the God of Israel, to turn away this day from following the LORD, in that ye have builded you an altar, that ye might rebel this day against the LORD? |
17 |
ㅏ브올의 罪惡(죄악)으로 因(인)하여 여호와의 會衆(회중)에 災殃(재앙)이 내렸으나 오늘날까지 우리가 그 罪(죄)에서 淨潔(정결)함을 얻지 못하였거늘 그 罪惡(죄악)이 우리에게
不足(부족)하여서
Was not the sin of Peor enough for us? Up to this very day we have not cleansed ourselves from that sin, even though a plague fell on the community of the LORD! Is the iniquity of Peor too little for us, from which we are not cleansed until this day, although there was a plague in the congregation of the LORD, |

오늘날 너희가 돌이켜 여호와를 좇지 않고자 하느냐 너희가 오늘날 여호와를 背逆(배역)하면 내일은 ㅑ그가 이스라엘 온 會衆(회중)에게 震怒(진노)하시리라

And are you now turning away from the LORD? "'If you rebel against the LORD today, tomorrow he will be angry with the whole community of Israel. But that ye must turn away this day from following the LORD? and it will be, seeing ye rebel to day against the LORD, that to morrow he will be wroth with the whole congregation of Israel. |

그런데 너희 所有地(소유지)가 萬一(만일) 깨끗지 아니하거든 ㅓ여호와의 聖幕(성막)이 있는 여호와의 所有地(소유지)로 건너와 우리 中(중)에서 所有(소유)를 取(취)할 것이니라 오직
우리 하나님 여호와의 壇(단) 外(외)에 다른 壇(단)을 쌓음으로 ㅕ여호와께 悖逆(패역)하지 말며 우리에게도 悖逆(패역)하지 말라
If the land you possess is defiled, come over to the LORD'S land, where the LORD'S tabernacle stands, and share the land with us. But do not rebel against the LORD or against us by building an altar for yourselves, other than the altar of the LORD our God. Notwithstanding, if the land of your possession be unclean, then pass ye over unto the land of the possession of the LORD, wherein the LORD'S tabernacle dwelleth, and take possession among us: but rebel not against the LORD, nor rebel against us, in building you an altar beside the altar of the LORD our God. |
20 |
ㅗ세라의 아들 아간이 바친 物件(물건)에 對(대)하여 犯罪(범죄)하므로 이스라엘 온 會衆(회중)에 震怒(진노)가 臨(임)하지 아니하였었느냐 그 罪惡(죄악)으로 亡(망)한 者(자)가 그
사람 뿐이 아니었느니라
When Achan son of Zerah acted unfaithfully regarding the devoted things, did not wrath come upon the whole community of Israel? He was not the only one who died for his sin.'" Did not Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the accursed thing, and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel? and that man perished not alone in his iniquity. |
21 |
● 르우벤 子孫(자손)과 갓 子孫(자손)과 므낫세 半(반) 支派(지파)가 이스라엘 千萬人(천만인)의 頭領(두령)에게 對答(대답)하여 가로되
Then Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh replied to the heads of the clans of Israel: Then the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh answered, and said unto the heads of the thousands of Israel, |
22 |
全能(전능)하신 者(자) ㅛ하나님 여호와, 全能(전능)하신 者(자) ㅜ하나님 여호와께서 아시나니 이스라엘도 將次(장차) 알리라 이 일이 萬一(만일) 여호와께
悖逆(패역)함이거나 犯罪(범죄)함이거든 主(주)는 오늘날 우리를 救援(구원)치 마시옵소서
The Mighty One, God, the LORD! The Mighty One, God, the LORD! He knows! And let Israel know! If this has been in rebellion or disobedience to the LORD, do not spare us this day. The LORD God of gods, the LORD God of gods, he knoweth, and Israel he shall know; if it be in rebellion, or if in transgression against the LORD, (save us not this day,) |
23 |
우리가 壇(단)을 쌓은 것이 돌이켜 여호와를 좇지 아니하려 함이거나 或時(혹시) 그 위에 燔祭(번제)나 素祭(소제)를 드리려 함이거나 或時(혹시) 和睦(화목) 祭物(제물)을 드리려 함이어든 여호와는 親(친)히 ㅠ罰(벌)하시옵소서
If we have built our own altar to turn away from the LORD and to offer burnt offerings and grain offerings, or to sacrifice fellowship offerings on it, may the LORD himself call us to account. That we have built us an altar to turn from following the LORD, or if to offer thereon burnt offering or meat offering, or if to offer peace offerings thereon, let the LORD himself require it; |
24 |
우리가 目的(목적)이 있어서 注意(주의)하고 이같이 하였노라 곧 생각하기를 으後日(후일)에 너희 子孫(자손)이 우리 子孫(자손)에게 말하여 이르기를 너희가 이스라엘 하나님 여호와와 무슨
相關(상관)이 있느냐
No! We did it for fear that some day your descendants might say to ours, 'What do you have to do with the LORD, the God of Israel? And if we have not rather done it for fear of this thing, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with the LORD God of Israel? |
25 |
너희 르우벤 子孫(자손), 갓 子孫(자손)아 여호와께서 우리와 너희 사이에 요단으로 境界(경계)를 삼으셨나니 너희는 여호와께 分誼(분의)가
없느니라 하여 너희 子孫(자손)이 우리 子孫(자손)으로 여호와 敬畏(경외)하기를 그치게 할까 하여
The LORD has made the Jordan a boundary between us and you--you Reubenites and Gadites! You have no share in the LORD.' So your descendants might cause ours to stop fearing the LORD. For the LORD hath made Jordan a border between us and you, ye children of Reuben and children of Gad; ye have no part in the LORD: so shall your children make our children cease from fearing the LORD. |
26 |
우리가 말하기를 우리가 이제 한 壇(단) 쌓기를 豫備(예비)하자 하였노니 이는 燔祭(번제)를 爲(위)함도 아니요 다른 祭祀(제사)를 爲(위)함도 아니라
That is why we said, 'Let us get ready and build an altar--but not for burnt offerings or sacrifices.' Therefore we said, Let us now prepare to build us an altar, not for burnt offering, nor for sacrifice: |
27 |
우리가 여호와 앞에서 우리 燔祭(번제)와 우리 다른 祭祀(제사)와 우리 和睦祭(화목제)로 이섬기는 것을 우리와 너희 사이와 우리의 後代(후대) 사이에
ㅐ證據(증거)가 되게 할 뿐으로서 너희 子孫(자손)으로 後日(후일)에 우리 子孫(자손)에게 이르기를 너희는 여호와께 分誼(분의)가
없다 못하게 하려 함이로라
On the contrary, it is to be a witness between us and you and the generations that follow, that we will worship the LORD at his sanctuary with our burnt offerings, sacrifices and fellowship offerings. Then in the future your descendants will not be able to say to ours, 'You have no share in the LORD.' But that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us, that we might do the service of the LORD before him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, Ye have no part in the LORD. |
28 |
우리가 말하였거니와 萬一(만일) 그들이 後日(후일)에 우리에게나 우리 後代(후대)에게 이같이 말하면 우리가 말하기를 우리 列祖(열조)가 지은 여호와의 壇(단) 模型(모형)을 보라 이는 燔祭(번제)를 爲(위)한 것도 아니요 다른 祭祀(제사)를 爲(위)한 것도 아니라 오직 우리와 너희 사이에 證據(증거)만 되게 할뿐이라
And we said, 'If they ever say this to us, or to our descendants, we will answer: Look at the replica of the LORD'S altar, which our fathers built, not for burnt offerings and sacrifices, but as a witness between us and you.' Therefore said we, that it shall be, when they should so say to us or to our generations in time to come, that we may say again, Behold the pattern of the altar of the LORD, which our fathers made, not for burnt offerings, nor for sacrifices; but it is a witness between us and you. |
29 |
우리가 燔祭(번제)나 素祭(소제)나 다른 祭祀(제사)를 爲(위)하여 우리 하나님 여호와의 聖幕(성막) 앞에 있는 壇(단)
外(외)에 壇(단)을 쌓음으로 ㄱ여호와께 悖逆(패역)하고 오늘날 여호와를 좇음에서 떠나려 함은 決斷(결단)코 아니니라 하리라

Far be it from us to rebel against the LORD and turn away from him today by building an altar for burnt offerings, grain offerings and sacrifices, other than the altar of the LORD our God that stands before his tabernacle. God forbid that we should rebel against the LORD, and turn this day from following the LORD, to build an altar for burnt offerings, for meat offerings, or for sacrifices, beside the altar of the LORD our God that is before his tabernacle. |

● 祭司長(제사장) ㄴ비느하스와 그와 함께한 會衆(회중)의 方伯(방백) 곧 이스라엘 千萬人(천만인)의 頭領(두령)들이 르우벤 子孫(자손)과 갓 子孫(자손)과 므낫세 子孫(자손)의 말을 듣고 ㄷ좋게 여긴지라
When Phinehas the priest and the leaders of the community--the heads of the clans of the Israelites--heard what Reuben, Gad and Manasseh had to say, they were pleased. And when Phinehas the priest, and the princes of the congregation and heads of the thousands of Israel which were with him, heard the words that the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the children of Manasseh spake, it pleased them. |

祭司長(제사장) 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스가 르우벤 子孫(자손)과 갓 子孫(자손)과 므낫세 子孫(자손)에게 이르되 우리가 오늘날 ㄹ여호와께서 우리 中(중)에 계신줄을 아노니 이는 너희가
이 罪(죄)를 여호와께 犯(범)치 아니하였음이라 너희가 이제 이스라엘 子孫(자손)을 여호와의 손에서 건져내었느니라 하고
And Phinehas son of Eleazar, the priest, said to Reuben, Gad and Manasseh, "Today we know that the LORD is with us, because you have not acted unfaithfully toward the LORD in this matter. Now you have rescued the Israelites from the LORD'S hand." And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the children of Manasseh, This day we perceive that the LORD is among us, because ye have not committed this trespass against the LORD: now ye have delivered the children of Israel out of the hand of the LORD. |
32 |
祭司長(제사장) 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스와 方伯(방백)들이 르우벤 子孫(자손)과 갓 子孫(자손)을 떠나 ㅁ길르앗 땅에서 가나안 땅에 돌아와 이스라엘 子孫(자손)에게 이르러
回報(회보)하매
Then Phinehas son of Eleazar, the priest, and the leaders returned to Canaan from their meeting with the Reubenites and Gadites in Gilead and reported to the Israelites. And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, and the princes, returned from the children of Reuben, and from the children of Gad, out of the land of Gilead, unto the land of Canaan, to the children of Israel, and brought them word again. |
33 |
ㅂ그 일이 이스라엘 子孫(자손)을 즐겁게 한지라 이스라엘 子孫(자손)이 ㅅ하나님을 讚頌(찬송)하고 르우벤 子孫(자손)과 갓 子孫(자손)의 居(거)하는 땅에 가서 싸워
그것을 滅(멸)하자 하는 말을 다시 하지 아니하였더라
They were glad to hear the report and praised God. And they talked no more about going to war against them to devastate the country where the Reubenites and the Gadites lived. And the thing pleased the children of Israel; and the children of Israel blessed God, and did not intend to go up against them in battle, to destroy the land wherein the children of Reuben and Gad dwelt. |
34 |
르우벤 子孫(자손)과 갓 子孫(자손)이 그 壇(단)을 엣이라 稱(칭)하였으니 우리 사이에 이 壇(단)은 ㅇ여호와께서 하나님이 되시는 證據(증거)라 함이었더라

And the Reubenites and the Gadites gave the altar this name: A Witness Between Us that the LORD is God. And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad called the altar Ed: for it shall be a witness between us that the LORD is God. |
