ㄱ여호사밧이 그 列祖(열조)와 함께 자매 그 列祖(열조)와 함께 다윗 城(성)에 葬事(장사)되고 그 아들 여호람이 代身(대신)하여 王(왕)이 되니라

Then Jehoshaphat rested with his fathers and was buried with them in the City of David. And Jehoram his son succeeded him as king. Now Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. And Jehoram his son reigned in his stead. |

여호사밧의 아들 여호람의 아우 아사랴와 여히엘과 스가랴와 아사랴와 미가엘과 스바댜는 다 ㄴ유다 王(왕) 여호사밧의 아들이라
Jehoram's brothers, the sons of Jehoshaphat, were Azariah, Jehiel, Zechariah, Azariahu, Michael and Shephatiah. All these were sons of Jehoshaphat king of Israel. And he had brethren the sons of Jehoshaphat, Azariah, and Jehiel, and Zechariah, and Azariah, and Michael, and Shephatiah: all these were the sons of Jehoshaphat king of Israel. |

그 父親(부친)이 저희에게는 銀(은) 金(금)과 寶物(보물)과 유다 ㄷ堅固(견고)한 城邑(성읍)들을 膳物(선물)로 厚(후)히 주었고 여호람은 長子(장자)인 故(고)로 王位(왕위)를 주었더니

Their father had given them many gifts of silver and gold and articles of value, as well as fortified cities in Judah, but he had given the kingdom to Jehoram because he was his firstborn son. And their father gave them great gifts of silver, and of gold, and of precious things, with fenced cities in Judah: but the kingdom gave he to Jehoram; because he was the firstborn. |

여호람이 그 父親(부친)의 位(위)에 올라 勢力(세력)을 얻은 後(후)에 그 모든 아우와 이스라엘 方伯(방백)
中(중) 몇 사람을 칼로 죽였더라
When Jehoram established himself firmly over his father's kingdom, he put all his brothers to the sword along with some of the princes of Israel. Now when Jehoram was risen up to the kingdom of his father, he strengthened himself, and slew all his brethren with the sword, and divers also of the princes of Israel. |

ㄹ여호람이 位(위)에 나아갈 때에 나이 ㅁ三十二歲(삼십이세)라 예루살렘에서 八年(팔년)을 治理(치리)하니라
Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years. Jehoram was thirty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. |

ㅂ저가 이스라엘 王(왕)들의 길로 行(행)하여 아합의 집과 같이 하였으니 이는 ㅅ아합의 딸이 그 아내가 되었음이라 저가 여호와 보시기에 惡(악)을 行(행)하였으나
He walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, as the house of Ahab had done, for he married a daughter of Ahab. He did evil in the eyes of the LORD. And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, like as did the house of Ahab: for he had the daughter of Ahab to wife: and he wrought that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD. |

여호와께서 다윗의 집을 滅(멸)하기를 즐겨하지 아니하셨음은 以前(이전)에 다윗으로 더불어 言約(언약)을 세우시고 또 다윗과 그 子孫(자손)에게 恒常(항상) ㅇ燈(등)불을 주겠다고
許(허)하셨음이더라
Nevertheless, because of the covenant the LORD had made with David, the LORD was not willing to destroy the house of David. He had promised to maintain a lamp for him and his descendants forever. Howbeit the LORD would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to give a light to him and to his sons for ever. |

● 여호람 때에 에돔이 背叛(배반)하여 ㅈ유다의 手下(수하)에서 벗어나 自己(자기) 위에 王(왕)을 세운 故(고)로

In the time of Jehoram, Edom rebelled against Judah and set up its own king. In his days the Edomites revolted from under the dominion of Judah, and made themselves a king. |

여호람이 長官(장관)들과 모든 兵車(병거)를 거느리고 出征(출정)하였더니 밤에 일어나서 自己(자기)를 에워싼 에돔 사람과 그 兵車(병거)의 長官(장관)들을 쳤더라
So Jehoram went there with his officers and all his chariots. The Edomites surrounded him and his chariot commanders, but he rose up and broke through by night. Then Jehoram went forth with his princes, and all his chariots with him: and he rose up by night, and smote the Edomites which compassed him in, and the captains of the chariots. |

이와 같이 에돔이 背叛(배반)하여 ㅊ유다의 手下(수하)에서 벗어났더니 오늘날까지 그러하였으며 그 때에 립나도 背叛(배반)하여 여호람의 手下(수하)에서 벗어났으니 이는 저가 그
列祖(열조)의 하나님 여호와를 버렸음이더라

To this day Edom has been in rebellion against Judah. Libnah revolted at the same time, because Jehoram had forsaken the LORD, the God of his fathers. So the Edomites revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day. The same time also did Libnah revolt from under his hand; because he had forsaken the LORD God of his fathers. |

● 여호람이 또 유다 여러 山(산)에 山堂(산당)을 세워 예루살렘 居民(거민)으로 ㅋ淫亂(음란)하듯 偶像(우상)을 섬기게 하고 또 유다를 迷惑(미혹)케 하였으므로
He had also built high places on the hills of Judah and had caused the people of Jerusalem to prostitute themselves and had led Judah astray. Moreover he made high places in the mountains of Judah, and caused the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit fornication, and compelled Judah thereto. |

先知者(선지자) 엘리야가 여호람에게 글을 보내어 가로되 王(왕)의 祖上(조상) 다윗의 하나님 여호와의 말씀이 네가 네 아비 ㅌ여호사밧의 길과 ㅍ유다 王(왕) 아사의
길로 行(행)치 아니하고
Jehoram received a letter from Elijah the prophet, which said: "This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: 'You have not walked in the ways of your father Jehoshaphat or of Asa king of Judah. And there came a writing to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of David thy father, Because thou hast not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat thy father, nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah, |

오직 이스라엘 列王(열왕)의 길로 行(행)하여 유다와 예루살렘 居民(거민)으로 淫亂(음란)하듯 偶像(우상)을 섬기게 하기를 ㅎ아합의 집과 같이 하며 또 너의 아비 집에서 ㅏ너보다 善(선)한
아우들을 죽였으니

But you have walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and you have led Judah and the people of Jerusalem to prostitute themselves, just as the house of Ahab did. You have also murdered your own brothers, members of your father's house, men who were better than you. But hast walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and hast made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to go a whoring, like to the whoredoms of the house of Ahab, and also hast slain thy brethren of thy father's house, which were better than thyself: |

여호와가 네 百姓(백성)과 네 子女(자녀)와 네 아내들과 네 모든 財物(재물)을 큰 災殃(재앙)으로 치리라
So now the LORD is about to strike your people, your sons, your wives and everything that is yours, with a heavy blow. Behold, with a great plague will the LORD smite thy people, and thy children, and thy wives, and all thy goods: |
15 |
또 ㅑ너는 창자에 重病(중병)이 들고 그 病(병)이 날로 重(중)하여 창자가 빠져나오리라 하셨다 하였더라
You yourself will be very ill with a lingering disease of the bowels, until the disease causes your bowels to come out.'" And thou shalt have great sickness by disease of thy bowels, until thy bowels fall out by reason of the sickness day by day. |

● ㅓ여호와께서 블레셋 사람과 구스에서 가까운 ㅕ아라비아 사람의 마음을 激動(격동)시키사 여호람을 치게 하셨으므로
The LORD aroused against Jehoram the hostility of the Philistines and of the Arabs who lived near the Cushites. Moreover the LORD stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines, and of the Arabians, that were near the Ethiopians: |
17 |
그 무리가 올라와서 유다를 侵擄(침노)하여 王宮(왕궁)의 모든 財物(재물)과 그 아들들과 아내들을 奪取(탈취)하였으므로 말째 아들 ㅗ여호아하스 外(외)에는 한
아들도 남지 아니하였더라
They attacked Judah, invaded it and carried off all the goods found in the king's palace, together with his sons and wives. Not a son was left to him except Ahaziah, the youngest. And they came up into Judah, and brake into it, and carried away all the substance that was found in the king's house, and his sons also, and his wives; so that there was never a son left him, save Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons. |

● 이 모든 일 後(후)에 여호와께서 여호람을 치사 能(능)히 고치지 못할 病(병)이 ㅛ그 창자에 들게 하셨으므로

After all this, the LORD afflicted Jehoram with an incurable disease of the bowels. And after all this the LORD smote him in his bowels with an incurable disease. |

여러 날 後(후) 二年(이년)만에 그 창자가 그 病(병)으로 因(인)하여 빠져나오매 저가 그 甚(심)한 病(병)으로 죽으니 百姓(백성)이 ㅜ그 列祖(열조)에게 焚香(분향)하던 것 같이
저에게 焚香(분향)하지 아니하였으며

In the course of time, at the end of the second year, his bowels came out because of the disease, and he died in great pain. His people made no fire in his honor, as they had for his fathers. And it came to pass, that in process of time, after the end of two years, his bowels fell out by reason of his sickness: so he died of sore diseases. And his people made no burning for him, like the burning of his fathers. |

여호람이 ㅠ三十二歲(삼십이세)에 卽位(즉위)하고 예루살렘에서 八年(팔년)을 治理(치리)하다가
으아끼는 者(자) 없이 世上(세상)을 떠났으며 이무리가 저를 다윗 城(성)에 葬事(장사)하였으나
列王(열왕)의 墓室(묘실)에는 두지 아니하였더라
Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years. He passed away, to no one's regret, and was buried in the City of David, but not in the tombs of the kings. Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years, and departed without being desired. Howbeit they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings. |
