ㄹ십 사람이 기브아에 와서 사울에게 이르러 가로되 다윗이 曠野(광야) 앞 하길라 山(산)에 숨지 아니하였나이까
The Ziphites went to Saul at Gibeah and said, "Is not David hiding on the hill of Hakilah, which faces Jeshimon?" And the Ziphites came unto Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth not David hide himself in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon? |

사울이 일어나 십 荒蕪地(황무지)에서 다윗을 찾으려고 ㅁ이스라엘에서 擇(택)한 사람 三千(삼천)과 함께 ㅂ십 荒蕪地(황무지)로 내려가서
So Saul went down to the Desert of Ziph, with his three thousand chosen men of Israel, to search there for David. Then Saul arose, and went down to the wilderness of Ziph, having three thousand chosen men of Israel with him, to seek David in the wilderness of Ziph. |

曠野(광야) 앞 하길라山(산) 길 가에 陣(진)치니라 다윗이 荒蕪地(황무지)에 있더니 사울이 自己(자기)를 따라 荒蕪地(황무지)로 들어옴을 깨닫고
Saul made his camp beside the road on the hill of Hakilah facing Jeshimon, but David stayed in the desert. When he saw that Saul had followed him there, And Saul pitched in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon, by the way. But David abode in the wilderness, and he saw that Saul came after him into the wilderness. |

이에 探偵(탐정)을 보내어 사울이 果然(과연) 이른줄 알고
he sent out scouts and learned that Saul had definitely arrived. David therefore sent out spies, and understood that Saul was come in very deed. |

일어나 사울의 陣(진) 친 곳에 이르러 사울과 넬의 아들 軍隊長官(군대장관) ㅅ아브넬의 留(유)하는 곳을 본즉 사울이 ㅇ陣(진) 가운데
누웠고 百姓(백성)은 그를 둘러 陣(진)쳤더라
Then David set out and went to the place where Saul had camped. He saw where Saul and Abner son of Ner, the commander of the army, had lain down. Saul was lying inside the camp, with the army encamped around him. And David arose, and came to the place where Saul had pitched: and David beheld the place where Saul lay, and Abner the son of Ner, the captain of his host: and Saul lay in the trench, and the people pitched round about him. |

● 이에 다윗이 헷 사람 아히멜렉과 스루야의 아들 요압의 아우 ㅈ아비새에게 물어 가로되 ㅊ누가 나로 더불어 陣(진)에 내려가서
사울에게 이르겠느냐 아비새가 가로되 내가 함께 가겠나이다
David then asked Ahimelech the Hittite and Abishai son of Zeruiah, Joab's brother, "Who will go down into the camp with me to Saul?" "I'll go with you," said Abishai. Then answered David and said to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to Abishai the son of Zeruiah, brother to Joab, saying, Who will go down with me to Saul to the camp? And Abishai said, I will go down with thee. |

다윗과 아비새가 밤에 그 百姓(백성)에게 나아가 본즉 사울이 ㅋ陣(진) 가운데 누워 자고 槍(창)은 ㅌ머리 곁 땅에 꽂혔고 아브넬과 百姓(백성)들은 그를 둘러
누웠는지라
So David and Abishai went to the army by night, and there was Saul, lying asleep inside the camp with his spear stuck in the ground near his head. Abner and the soldiers were lying around him. So David and Abishai came to the people by night: and, behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench, and his spear stuck in the ground at his bolster: but Abner and the people lay round about him. |

아비새가 다윗에게 이르되 ㅍ하나님이 오늘날 當身(당신)의 怨讐(원수)를 當身(당신)의 손에 붙이셨나이다 그러므로 請(청)하오니 나로 槍(창)으로 그를 찔러서 單番(단번)에 땅에 꽂게
하소서 내가 그를 두 番(번) 찌를 것이 없으리이다
Abishai said to David, "Today God has delivered your enemy into your hands. Now let me pin him to the ground with one thrust of my spear; I won't strike him twice." Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not smite him the second time. |

다윗이 아비새에게 이르되 죽이지 말라 누구든지 손을 들어 ㅎ여호와의 기름 부음을 받은 者(자)를 치면 罪(죄)가 없겠느냐
But David said to Abishai, "Don't destroy him! Who can lay a hand on the LORD'S anointed and be guiltless? And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the LORD'S anointed, and be guiltless? |

또 가로되 ㅏ여호와께서 사시거니와 ㅑ여호와께서 그를 치시리니 或(혹) ㅓ죽을 날이 이르거나 或(혹) ㅕ戰場(전장)에 들어가서
亡(망)하리라
As surely as the LORD lives," he said, "the LORD himself will strike him; either his time will come and he will die, or he will go into battle and perish. David said furthermore, As the LORD liveth, the LORD shall smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall descend into battle, and perish. |

ㅗ내가 손을 들어 여호와의 기름 부음을 받은 者(자)를 치는 것을 여호와께서 禁(금)하시나니 너는 그의 머리 곁에 있는 槍(창)과 물甁(병)만 가지고 가자 하고

But the LORD forbid that I should lay a hand on the LORD'S anointed. Now get the spear and water jug that are near his head, and let's go." The LORD forbid that I should stretch forth mine hand against the LORD'S anointed: but, I pray thee, take thou now the spear that is at his bolster, and the cruse of water, and let us go. |

다윗이 ㅛ사울의 머리 곁에서 槍(창)과 물甁(병)을 가지고 떠나가되 깨든지 이를 보든지 알든지 하는 사람이 없었으니 이는 ㅜ여호와께서 그들로 깊이 잠들게 하셨으므로
그들이 다 잠이었더라
So David took the spear and water jug near Saul's head, and they left. No one saw or knew about it, nor did anyone wake up. They were all sleeping, because the LORD had put them into a deep sleep. So David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul's bolster; and they gat them away, and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither awaked: for they were all asleep; because a deep sleep from the LORD was fallen upon them. |

● 이에 다윗이 건너便(편)으로 가서 멀리 山(산)꼭대기에 서니 相距(상거)가 멀더라
Then David crossed over to the other side and stood on top of the hill some distance away; there was a wide space between them. Then David went over to the other side, and stood on the top of an hill afar off; a great space being between them: |

다윗이 百姓(백성)과 넬의 아들 아브넬을 對(대)하여 외쳐 가로되 아브넬아 너는 對答(대답)지 아니하느냐 아브넬이 對答(대답)하여 가로되 王(왕)을 부르는 너는 누구냐
He called out to the army and to Abner son of Ner, "Aren't you going to answer me, Abner?" Abner replied, "Who are you who calls to the king?" And David cried to the people, and to Abner the son of Ner, saying, Answerest thou not, Abner? Then Abner answered and said, Who art thou that criest to the king? |

다윗이 아브넬에게 이르되 네가 勇士(용사)가 아니냐 이스라엘 中(중)에 너 같은 者(자)가 누구냐 그러한데 네가 어찌하여 네 主(주) 王(왕)을 保護(보호)하지 아니하느냐 百姓(백성) 中(중) 한 사람이
네 主(주) 王(왕)을 죽이려고 들어갔었느니라
David said, "You're a man, aren't you? And who is like you in Israel? Why didn't you guard your lord the king? Someone came to destroy your lord the king. And David said to Abner, Art not thou a valiant man? and who is like to thee in Israel? wherefore then hast thou not kept thy lord the king? for there came one of the people in to destroy the king thy lord. |
16 |
네 行(행)한 이 일이 善(선)치 못하도다 여호와께서 사시거니와 여호와의 기름 부음 받은
너희 主(주)를 保護(보호)하지 아니하였으니 너희는 ㅠ마땅히 죽을 者(자)니라 이제 王(왕)의 槍(창)과 으王(왕)의 머리곁에 있던 물甁(병)이 어디있나 보라
What you have done is not good. As surely as the LORD lives, you and your men deserve to die, because you did not guard your master, the LORD'S anointed. Look around you. Where are the king's spear and water jug that were near his head?" This thing is not good that thou hast done. As the LORD liveth, ye are worthy to die, because ye have not kept your master, the LORD'S anointed. And now see where the king's spear is, and the cruse of water that was at his bolster. |

● 사울이 다윗의 音聲(음성)을 알아 듣고 가로되 내 아들 다윗아 이것이 이네 音聲(음성)이냐 다윗이 가로되 내 主(주) 王(왕)이여 내 音聲(음성)이니이다

Saul recognized David's voice and said, "Is that your voice, David my son?" David replied, "Yes it is, my lord the king." And Saul knew David's voice, and said, Is this thy voice, my son David? And David said, It is my voice, my lord, O king. |

또 가로되 내 主(주)는 ㅐ어찌하여 主(주)의 종을 쫓으시나이까 내가 무엇을 하였으며 내 손에 무슨 惡(악)이 있나이까
And he added, "Why is my lord pursuing his servant? What have I done, and what wrong am I guilty of? And he said, Wherefore doth my lord thus pursue after his servant? for what have I done? or what evil is in mine hand? |

請(청)컨대 내 主(주) 王(왕)은 이제 종의 말을 들으소서 萬一(만일) 王(왕)을 激動(격동)시켜 나를 害(해)하려 하는 이가 여호와시면 여호와께서는 ㄱ祭物(제물)을 받으시기를
願(원)하나이다마는 萬一(만일) 人子(인자)들이면 그들이 여호와 앞에 詛呪(저주)를 받으리니 이는 ㄴ그들이 이르기를 너는 가서 다른 神(신)들을 섬기라하고 오늘날
나를 쫓아내어 ㄷ여호와의 基業(기업)에 붙지
못하게 함이니이다
Now let my lord the king listen to his servant's words. If the LORD has incited you against me, then may he accept an offering. If, however, men have done it, may they be cursed before the LORD! They have now driven me from my share in the LORD'S inheritance and have said, 'Go, serve other gods.' Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the LORD have stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if they be the children of men, cursed be they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods. |

그런즉 請(청)컨대 여호와 앞에서 먼 이곳에서 이제 나의 피로 땅에 흐르지 말게 하옵소서 이는 山(산)에서 메추라기를 사냥하는 者(자)와 같이 이스라엘 王(왕)이 한 ㄹ벼룩을
搜索(수색)하러 나오셨음이니이다

Now do not let my blood fall to the ground far from the presence of the LORD. The king of Israel has come out to look for a flea--as one hunts a partridge in the mountains." Now therefore, let not my blood fall to the earth before the face of the LORD: for the king of Israel is come out to seek a flea, as when one doth hunt a partridge in the mountains. |

● 사울이 가로되 ㅁ내가 犯罪(범죄)하였도다 내 아들 다윗아 돌아오라 네가 오늘 내 生命(생명)을 貴重(귀중)히 여겼은즉 내가 다시는 너를 害(해)하려 하지 아니하리라 내가 어리석은
일을 하였으니 大端(대단)히 잘못되었도다
Then Saul said, "I have sinned. Come back, David my son. Because you considered my life precious today, I will not try to harm you again. Surely I have acted like a fool and have erred greatly." Then said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David: for I will no more do thee harm, because my soul was precious in thine eyes this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly. |

다윗이 對答(대답)하여 가로되 王(왕)은 槍(창)을 보소서 한 少年(소년)을 보내어 가져가게 하소서
Here is the king's spear, David answered. "Let one of your young men come over and get it. And David answered and said, Behold the king's spear! and let one of the young men come over and fetch it. |

ㅂ여호와께서 各(각) 사람에게 그 義(의)와 信實(신실)을 갚으시리니 이는 여호와께서 오늘날 王(왕)을 내 손에 붙이셨으되 나는 손을 들어 여호와의
기름
부음을 받은 者(자) 치기를 願(원)치 아니하였음이니이다
The LORD rewards every man for his righteousness and faithfulness. The LORD delivered you into my hands today, but I would not lay a hand on the LORD'S anointed. The LORD render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness: for the LORD delivered thee into my hand to day, but I would not stretch forth mine hand against the LORD'S anointed. |

오늘날 王(왕)의 生命(생명)을 내가 重(중)히 여긴 것 같이 내 生命(생명)을 여호와께서 重(중)히 여기셔서 모든 患難(환난)에서 나를 求(구)하여 내시기를 바라나이다
As surely as I valued your life today, so may the LORD value my life and deliver me from all trouble." And, behold, as thy life was much set by this day in mine eyes, so let my life be much set by in the eyes of the LORD, and let him deliver me out of all tribulation. |

사울이 다윗에게 이르되 내 아들아 다윗아 네게 福(복)이 있을지로다 네가 큰 일을 行(행)하겠고 반드시 ㅅ勝利(승리)를 얻으리라 하니라 다윗은 自己(자기) 길로 가고 사울은 自己(자기)
곳으로 돌아가니라

Then Saul said to David, "May you be blessed, my son David; you will do great things and surely triumph." So David went on his way, and Saul returned home. Then Saul said to David, Blessed be thou, my son David: thou shalt both do great things, and also shalt still prevail. So David went on his way, and Saul returned to his place. |
