우리가 銀(은)을 주고 물을 마시며 값을 주고 섶을 얻으오며
We must buy the water we drink; our wood can be had only at a price. We have drunken our water for money; our wood is sold unto us. |

ㅑ우리를 쫓는 者(자)는 우리 목을 눌렀사오니 우리가 困憊(곤비)하여 쉴 수 없나이다

우리가 ㅓ애굽 사람과 앗수르 사람과 ㅕ握手(악수)하고 糧食(양식)을 얻어 배불리고자 하였나이다
We submitted to Egypt and Assyria to get enough bread. We have given the hand to the Egyptians, and to the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread. |

우리 列祖(열조)는 犯罪(범죄)하고 없어졌고 ㅗ우리는 그 罪惡(죄악)을 擔當(담당)하였나이다
Our fathers sinned and are no more, and we bear their punishment. Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities. |

ㅛ종들이 우리를 管轄(관할)함이여 그 손에서 건져낼 者(자)가 없나이다
Slaves rule over us, and there is none to free us from their hands. Servants have ruled over us: there is none that doth deliver us out of their hand. |

ㅜ曠野(광야)에는 칼이 있으므로 죽기를 무릅써야 糧食(양식)을 얻사오니

Our skin is hot as an oven, feverish from hunger. Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine. |

對敵(대적)이 시온에서 婦女(부녀)들을, 유다 各(각) 城(성)에서 處女(처녀)들을 辱(욕)보였나이다
Women have been ravished in Zion, and virgins in the towns of Judah. They ravished the women in Zion, and the maids in the cities of Judah. |

이方伯(방백)들의 손이 매어달리며 ㅐ長老(장로)들의 얼굴이 尊敬(존경)을 받지 못하나이다

Because of this our hearts are faint, because of these things our eyes grow dim For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim. |

主(주)께서 ㅊ어찌하여 우리를 永遠(영원)히 잊으시오며 우리를 이같이 오래 버리시나이까
