Now Naomi had a relative on her husband's side, from the clan of Elimelech, a man of standing, whose name was Boaz.

모압 女人(여인) 룻이 나오미에게 이르되 나로 밭에 가게 하소서 ㅠ내가 뉘게 恩惠(은혜)를 입으면 그를 따라서 으이삭을 줍겠나이다 나오미가 그에게 이르되 내 딸아 갈찌어다 하매
And Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, "Let me go to the fields and pick up the leftover grain behind anyone in whose eyes I find favor." Naomi said to her, "Go ahead, my daughter."

룻이 가서 베는 者(자)를 따라 밭에서 이삭을 줍는데 偶然(우연)히 엘리멜렉의 親族(친족) 보아스에게 屬(속)한 밭에 이르렀더라
So she went out and began to glean in the fields behind the harvesters. As it turned out, she found herself working in a field belonging to Boaz, who was from the clan of Elimelech.

마침 보아스가 베들레헴에서부터 와서 베는 者(자)들에게 이르되 이여호와께서 너희가 함께 하시기를 願(원)하노라 그들이 對答(대답)하되 여호와께서 當身(당신)에게 福(복) 주시기를 願(원)하나이다

Just then Boaz arrived from Bethlehem and greeted the harvesters, "The LORD be with you!" "The LORD bless you!" they called back.

보아스가 베는 者(자)들을 거느린 使喚(사환)에게 이르되 이는 뉘 少女(소녀)냐
Boaz asked the foreman of his harvesters, "Whose young woman is that?"

베는 者(자)를 거느린 使喚(사환)이 對答(대답)하여 가로되 이는 나오미와 함께 모압 地方(지방)에서 돌아온 ㅐ모압 少女(소녀)인데

The foreman replied, "She is the Moabitess who came back from Moab with Naomi.

그의 말이 나로 베는 者(자)를 따라 단 사이에서 이삭을 줍게 하소서 하였고 아침부터 와서는 暫時(잠시) 집에서 쉰 外(외)에 지금까지 繼續(계속)하는 中(중)이니이다
She said, 'Please let me glean and gather among the sheaves behind the harvesters.' She went into the field and has worked steadily from morning till now, except for a short rest in the shelter."

● 보아스가 룻에게 이르되 내 딸아 들으라 이삭을 주우러 다른 밭으로 가지 말며 여기서 떠나지 말고 나의 少女(소녀)들과 함께 있으라
So Boaz said to Ruth, "My daughter, listen to me. Don't go and glean in another field and don't go away from here. Stay here with my servant girls.

그들의 베는 밭을 보고 그들을 따르라 내가 그 少年(소년)들에게 命(명)하여 너를 건드리지 말라 하였느니라 목이 마르거든 그릇에 가서 少年(소년)들의 길어 온 것을 마실찌니라
Watch the field where the men are harvesting, and follow along after the girls. I have told the men not to touch you. And whenever you are thirsty, go and get a drink from the water jars the men have filled."

ㄱ룻이 땅에 엎드려 절하며 그에게 이르되 나는 異邦(이방) 女人(여인)이어늘 當身(당신)이 어찌하여 내게 恩惠(은혜)를 베푸시며 나를 ㄴ돌아보시나이까
At this, she bowed down with her face to the ground. She exclaimed, "Why have I found such favor in your eyes that you notice me--a foreigner?"

보아스가 그에게 對答(대답)하여 가로되 ㄷ네 男便(남편)이 죽은 後(후)로 네가 媤母(시모)에게 行(행)한 모든 것과 네 父母(부모)와 故國(고국)을 떠나 前(전)에 알지 못하던 百姓(백성)에게로 온 일이 내게 分明(분명)히 들렸느니라
Boaz replied, "I've been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband--how you left your father and mother and your homeland and came to live with a people you did not know before.

ㄹ여호와께서 네 行(행)한 일을 報應(보응)하시기를 願(원)하며 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 ㅁ그 날개 아래 保護(보호)를 받으러 온 네게 穩全(온전)한 賞(상) 주시기를 願(원)하노라
May the LORD repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge."

룻이 가로되 내 主(주)여 내가 當身(당신)께 ㅂ恩惠(은혜) 입기를 願(원)하나이다 나는 當身(당신)의 侍女(시녀)의 하나와 같지 못하오나 當身(당신)이 이 侍女(시녀)를 慰勞(위로)하시고 ㅅ마음을 기쁘게 하는 말씀을 하셨나이다
May I continue to find favor in your eyes, my lord, she said. "You have given me comfort and have spoken kindly to your servant--though I do not have the standing of one of your servant girls."

● 食事(식사)할 때에 보아스가 룻에게 이르되 이리로 와서 떡을 먹으며 네 떡 조각을 醋(초)에 찍으라 룻이 穀食(곡식) 베는 者(자) 곁에 앉으니 2)그가 볶은 穀食(곡식)을 주매 룻이 ㅇ배불리 먹고 남았더라

At mealtime Boaz said to her, "Come over here. Have some bread and dip it in the wine vinegar." When she sat down with the harvesters, he offered her some roasted grain. She ate all she wanted and had some left over.

룻이 이삭을 주우러 일어날 때에 보아스가 自己(자기) 少年(소년)들에게 命(명)하여 가로되 그로 穀食(곡식) 단 사이에서 줍게 하고 責望(책망)하지 말며
As she got up to glean, Boaz gave orders to his men, "Even if she gathers among the sheaves, don't embarrass her.

또 그를 爲(위)하여 줌에서 조금씩 뽑아 버려서 그로 줍게 하고 꾸짖지 말라 하니라
Rather, pull out some stalks for her from the bundles and leave them for her to pick up, and don't rebuke her."

● 룻이 밭에서 저녁까지 줍고 그 주운 것을 떠니 보리가 한 에바쯤 되는지라
So Ruth gleaned in the field until evening. Then she threshed the barley she had gathered, and it amounted to about an ephah.

그것을 가지고 城邑(성읍)에 들어가서 媤母(시모)에게 그 주운 것을 보이고 그 ㅈ배불리 먹고 남긴 것을 내어 媤母(시모)에게 드리매

She carried it back to town, and her mother-in-law saw how much she had gathered. Ruth also brought out and gave her what she had left over after she had eaten enough.

媤母(시모)가 그에게 이르되 오늘 어디서 주웠느냐 어디서 일을 하였느냐 ㅊ너를 돌아본 者(자)에게 福(복)이 있기를 願(원)하노라 룻이 누구에게서 일한 것을 媤母(시모)에게 알게 하여 가로되 오늘 일하게 한 사람의 이름은 보아스니이다

Her mother-in-law asked her, "Where did you glean today? Where did you work? Blessed be the man who took notice of you!" Then Ruth told her mother-in-law about the one at whose place she had been working. "The name of the man I worked with today is Boaz," she said.

나오미가 子婦(자부)에게 이르되 ㅋ여호와의 福(복)이 그에게 있기를 願(원)하노라 ㅌ그가 生存(생존)한 者(자)와 死亡(사망)한 者(자)에게 恩惠(은혜) 베풀기를 그치지 아니하도다 나오미가 또 그에게 이르되 그 사람은 우리의 近族(근족)이니 ㅍ우리 3)基業(기업)을 무를 者(자) 中(중) 하나이니라
The LORD bless him! Naomi said to her daughter-in-law. "He has not stopped showing his kindness to the living and the dead." She added, "That man is our close relative; he is one of our kinsman-redeemers."

모압 女人(여인) 룻이 가로되 그가 내게 또 이르기를 내 秋收(추수)를 다 마치기까지 너는 내 少年(소년)들에게 가까이 있으라 하더이다
Then Ruth the Moabitess said, "He even said to me, 'Stay with my workers until they finish harvesting all my grain.'"

나오미가 子婦(자부) 룻에게 이르되 내 딸아 너는 그 少女(소녀)들과 함께 나가고 다른 밭에서 사람을 만나지 아니하는 것이 좋으니라
Naomi said to Ruth her daughter-in-law, "It will be good for you, my daughter, to go with his girls, because in someone else's field you might be harmed."

이에 룻이 보아스의 少女(소녀)들에게 가까이 있어서 보리 秋收(추수)와 밀 秋收(추수)를 마치기까지 이삭을 주우며 그 媤母(시모)와 함께 居(거)하니라
So Ruth stayed close to the servant girls of Boaz to glean until the barley and wheat harvests were finished. And she lived with her mother-in-law.
