If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

내가 ㅅ豫言(예언)하는 능이 있어 모든 秘密(비밀)과 모든 知識(지식)을 알고 또 ㅇ山(산)을 옮길 만한 모든 믿음이 있을찌라도 사랑이 없으면 내가 아무 것도 아니요
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

ㅓ不義(불의)를 기뻐하지 아니하며, ㅕ眞理(진리)와 함께 기뻐하고
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

ㅗ모든 것을 참으며 모든 것을 믿으며 모든 것을 바라며 모든 것을 견디느니라
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

사랑은 언제까지든지 떨어지지 아니하나 豫言(예언)도 廢(폐)하고 方言(방언)도 그치고 知識(지식)도 廢(폐)하리라
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

ㅠ우리가 이제는 거울로 보는 것 같이 희미하나 으그 때에는 얼굴과 얼굴을 對(대)하여 볼 것이요 이제는 내가 部分的(부분적)으로 아나 그 때에는 이主(주)께서 나를 아신 것 같이 내가 穩全(온전)히 알리라
Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
